The Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Nabbanja Robinah has met Local Development Partners group co-chairs led by the United Nations Resident Country Coordinator Susan Namondo and other Ambassadors from European Union to discuss ways of strengthening the National Partnership Forum (NPF) in the quest of improving the livelihoods of the people.

The Members of Parliament sitting on the committee of Finance have accused government of illegally pushing for a tax waiver for four different entities.
This is after the Ministry of Finance Planning and economic presented seven companies to the committee seeking for a tax exemption of which four skipped the formal procedures of Parliament.
Minister Henry Musaasizi and his team were bounced and tasked to provide procedures seeking for the tax exemptions.
Three entities were recently tabled before Parliament seeking for a tax waiver totaling to 7 billion.

The Minister of Health Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng has called upon the general public to stay alert and vigilant during the Month of August through November since they are prone to outbreaks.
Aceng made the remarks during the handover ceremony of 220 motorcycles and 427 laptops to 12 Refugee Host Districts representatives.
