Place into a container such as a Kilner or Mason jar and fill to just over half way. Cover with cold filtered water and add about 60ml of 40% vodka. Close the jar and leave it to stand in a sunny windowsill for about three days and then strain. Pour the Rosewater into glass bottle, blue, green or amber - to ensure that light does not oxidise the Rosewater. Use the Rosewater as a facial toner, on sunburned skin, as a spritz to cool down and use in other skin care products such as face creams, body lotions and soap. You can also use Rosewater on inflammatory skin conditions as it so cooling. It is also lovely to use as a room spray.
