For a limited time before the game comes out on October 12th, they're giving pre-ordered players access to the Blackout Beta! In the beta mode that I'm playing now, players can test out COD's new battle royale mode. Join me as I show you where cool things are, play with a squad, and have fun taking down other players! Blackout mode features 100 players going head to head in solo, duo, or quad mode. This lets you team up with your friends and drop on the map using helicopters. As you travel to areas featured in previous Call of Duty games, you pick up loot to survive. This includes weapons, ammo, healing kits, and perks. As the game goes on, the map's playable area shrinks, forcing players to engage with one another or take damage over time! Even zombies spawn in certain areas of the map, dropping valuable weapons, attachments, and consumables. Luckily, there are tons of vehicles around to quickly zip around the map.
