A rather topical and relatable song title, But I think this track is the best jumping in point. Around 2001 when I was 10 years old, my mum bought a cheap used camera in the neighborhood, and the person she bought it off threw in a box of CD's. It was mostly full of demo CD's from small bands around Sydney. But it also had the 'Triple J Hottest 100' compilation CD. It's a CD of the highest voted songs from the previous year. At the Drive in had 2 songs in the top 100, and one of those was on the CD. The random box also contained that album, Relationship of Command. It all clicked and I took notice of them. I didn't realize At The Drive-In broke up until a couple years after the Mars Volta had started. My friend showed me De-loused and at first I really disliked it, but Roulette Dares kept me hooked.
