Cooling is optimized by four slots within the bumper that reduce shadowed thermal flow. Genesis’ rear-wheel-drive platform provides the basis for the GV80 Coupe Concept’s long hood and generous dash-to-axle proportions. These refined proportions are further emphasized by the anti-wedge parabolic line. It is complemented by the muscular blisters and fenders that contrast with the vehicle’s elegant coupe silhouette. The front fender wears the ‘Designed by Genesis’ plaque that highlights the exclusive character of Genesis models while the five-spoke forged aluminum wheels and the carbon fiber roof – which contributes to the GV80 Coupe Concept’s dynamic driving qualities by lowering the center of gravity and reducing weight – emphasize the vehicle’s sporty character. To further reinforce its driving dynamics, the vehicle’s optimized aerodynamic fluidity is complemented by an upper rear spoiler and spoiler lip on the elliptical concave ducktail, which provides increased downforce at speed. The seamless rear lamps complete the Two Lines signature at the rear. The model’s bold design is also emphasized by its Magma exterior color, which was inspired by the brand’s Distinctly Korean ethos. While describing the color, Donckerwolke said: “The color symbolizes the self-confident and passionate attitude of Korea. There is a quiet, efficient, disciplined and humble first impression soon contrasted by a high performing and extroverted attitude.” Continuing the themes of the exterior, the GV80 Coupe Concept interior is a contrast between Genesis’ elegant Beauty of White Space philosophy and athletic attributes. The three-spoke steering wheel plays an important role in emphasizing the sportiness of the GV80 Coupe Concept’s interior, which contrasts black Nappa and suede leather with plaid double stitching, orange piping and carbon fiber weaves on the functional surfaces. Four bucket seats provide increased body support during cornering, contributing to passenger safety and comfort, while the carbon fiber back rest, painted in body color, further accentuates the GV80 Coupe Concept’s extroverted character. The structural stiffness of the body is reinforced with a G-Matrix strut brace behind the bucket seats. The GV80 Coupe Concept confirms Genesis’ commitment and ambitions to deliver innovative luxury products with bold, emotional resonance. A Škoda first: the gear selector has moved to the steering column in both models, making it particularly accessible. As a result, the centre console has a tidy, clearly structured layout, opening up additional space for the front passengers. Other firsts in the Kodiaq and the Superb include a head-up display complementing the 10-inch Virtual Cockpit, and a free-standing central infotainment display that is larger than ever, measuring 13 inches diagonally. Also debuting in both models, Škoda Smart Dials are innovative rotary push-buttons that cleverly integrate haptic and digital components for a more intuitive experience. With the introduction of Škoda Smart Dials, the Czech carmaker is taking the proven combination of haptic and digital controls in its vehicles to the next level. This entirely new approach consists of three rotary push-buttons below the infotainment screen, each with a 32-millimetre digital display. These allow quick access to numerous vehicle functions based on the equipment level. The two outer Smart Dials for the driver and front passenger control the interior temperature, seat heating, and seat ventilation, displaying the currently active function. The centre Smart Dial controls up to four different functions, such as the infotainment volume, fan speed, air direction, smart air conditioning, driving modes, and map zoom. The central Smart Dial is configured via the infotainment system menu, and pressing the button switches between functions. The quest for enhanced comfort onboard is evident in the new additions, including the Phone Box with fast inductive smartphone charging capabilities of up to 15 W – and in the Kodiaq, this extends to two phones – paired with an active cooling function. Additionally, passengers benefit from up to four USB-C ports with a power output of 45 W, as well as a convenient 15 W USB-C port on the rear-view mirror. Not to be overlooked, the new Kodiaq is available with ergo seats complete with a pneumatic massage function. Rear-seat passengers will also appreciate a fresh storage compartment in the centre tunnel. In the Superb, a redesigned steering wheel, instrument cluster and decorative trim elements blend seamlessly with enhanced optional massage seats. These now include ten pneumatically controlled massage cushions and an extensive selection of programs, with four-way adjustable lumbar support. Matching the Kodiaq, all heating functions for the seats, steering wheel, windscreen, and rear window can be conveniently managed via a configurable Heaters button in the climate control menu. Škoda demonstrates its commitment to sustainability by using environmentally responsible materials for all interior textiles, as well as for two iconic Simply Clever features: the umbrella in the driver’s door and the ice scraper. Continuing the approach of other Škoda models, the traditional equipment lines have been replaced by the Design Selections concept: In the Kodiaq, customers can opt for Loft, Lounge, or ecoSuite in Black or Cognac, with textiles crafted from 100% recycled polyester. The leather in the ecoSuite Design Selection benefits from an eco-friendly tanning process using coffee bean processing residues. For the fourth-generation Superb, the Essence trim level includes the Design Selection Studio, with choices for the Selection trim level encompassing Loft and Lounge, as well as the Design Selection Suite in Black and Cognac. The top L&K model extends the offer with the Design Selection L&K Suite in Black and Cognac, boasting leather sustainably tanned using wastewater from olive processing. It is more robust and comes with red trims – the brand’s trademark colour. It also features a side strip with a signature echoing speed and dynamism. The rear-view mirror and red line detail on the front bumper also echo the same styling and colour. Naturally, the Abarth logo is featured both on the side and front. The Fiat Flag is also featured on the radiator grille. It also sports exclusive 17" racing wheels with distinctive arches, greater width, and unique centre caps. The front of the SUV also features lines that highlight the model's sturdiness, including an upper applique with a carbon fibre design and the floating radiator grille with dedicated air vents for greater efficiency. Additionally, it showcases improved aerodynamics via its air curtain and a lower and wider front bumper. At the rear, it features an Abarth signature super sport shark antenna and a rear bumper that reinforces Abarth’s Racing DNA with a 3-inch dual chrome tailpipe with the brand's trademark rumble. The uniqueness of its souped-up DNA is also marked by its dark interior. The imposing Scorpion symbol is present in 13 points, including at the back of the seats, centre of the steering wheel, dashboard logo, on a label on the gearstick, and even on the engine cover. Naturally, the distinctive red Abarth colour comes as standard. The exclusive seats in black eco-leather, the armrest, and the steering wheel all feature the same stitch detail as the gearstick knob. Highlighting the SUV's unique finish, it also sports a red stripe on the dashboard, which is called back on the letter "E" in its name, Pulse, on the rear logo, which is also red. Furthermore, the central console gets the most out of the space and features several object holders. The digital cluster is customizable and features the same sporty Abarth styling. The model is available in Banchisa White, Strato Grey, Montecarlo Red and Volcano Black, with external details in red. The Montecarlo Red options come in grey or black details. It is capable of reaching 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds (ethanol version), with a top speed of 215 km/h (ethanol). Its weight-power ratio is 6.9 kg/cv. In line with the brand’s philosophy, the model is tailor-made. Developed on the MLA platform, the Pulse Abarth features special upgrades, such as a new gearbox calibration that makes gear changing faster and sportier. The suspension brings more stability and drivability, with springs and shock absorbers up to 13% firmer. The front suspension has been given a new layout and now features a larger stabiliser bar for greater stability. Torsional rigidity has been increased in the rear axle (+15%). Body roll is also 10% smaller, which helps keep the height high. Safety and technology have not been overlooked in the Pulse Abarth. It features many options as standard, which, in other models in the category, are offered as optional extras. The Infotainment system with a 10.1" touchscreen comes with Connect////Me, a connected services platform with over 30 features. The user can access information relating to the vehicle, such as diagnostics and location by smartphone, smartwatch or even through a personal assistant such as Alexa or Google Assistant. In addition, the Pulse Abarth comes equipped with ADAS (advanced driving assistance systems) with the following features: automatic headlight switching, lane-change alert and automatic emergency braking. It also has an automatic electronic parking brake with Auto Hold, which keeps the brake on after you take your foot off the pedal, making driving more comfortable. The model also features front and side chest and head airbags for driver and passengers as standard. The Pulse Abarth features a paddle gearshift, also known as a "butterfly gearshift", located behind the steering wheel which allows you to change gears with a simple touch. The SUV even comes with a wireless charger for smartphones (induction charger), an Abarth-specific 7" full digital cluster displaying information such as turbo pressure, G-force and power on the main screen, digital automatic air-conditioning, full led automatic headlights and taillights, rain sensors with automatic wiper activation and Keyless Entry'n Go. To top it off, on ignition, you are welcomed by an Abarth animation on the cluster display and the multimedia centre screen.
