Pres. Obama Awards Joe Biden Medal of Freedom v. Charlie Chaplin's "The Dictator" Award Scene
President Barack Obama presents Vice President Joe Biden with the highly distinguished and rarely given, {The Presidential Medal of Freedom}. It was a very emotional and moving moment for all of us. Hold-it! Didn't I see this same footage in Charlie Chaplin's first talking movie, "The Dictator"? Here it is for you to watch and compare the two. No wonder that movie is being censored and blocked from public viewing in the United States. It's totally Un-American & Communistic! Shame on you Charlie Chaplin or is it shame on US?
"The Great Dictator"
This 1940 wonderful and enlightening film starring Charlie Chaplin who portrays a poor Jewish barber who is mistaken for the dictator of similar appearance and takes his place. In his rejection of the position, he gives one of the most inspirational speeches I have ever heard in my lifetime. It is truly an amazing expression of how I know we all deep inside, want and feel. Thank you Charlie for this rarely seen legacy you have left us! RIP and I will never forget your words. ~ HBG
