Pierre Le Corf -
I wake up in nightmares like from time to time, I worked yesterday with young people who saw their friends die, it wakes up things ... internet seems to came back ... A message that I think important, I am tired and disgusted by this continuous manipulation, of these lies and - or half-truths that you are thrust into the skull subtly or aggressively but in a very controlled way ... again, without pretention, you do what you want with this message which is only the continuity of what I have always published and that I assume. I have nothing to win again, we will probably continue to shoot me in the legs I guess ... but I only transmit what I have personally experienced, as testimonies of people who have the courage to share their story, denounce, show their faces
You know the difference between people who are living in terrorist zones and those who are living in a government zone (which represents 80% of Syria) is that here in gov areas nobody has a camera crew that follows those who save people under the hundreds of mortars, no high tech equipment made available by foreign press agencies, satellite networks by Turkey, networks of activists or millions of gov funding to ensure minute-by-minute coverage of events, ... here the Mortars fall, you run, you help people, you pick up the pieces, you cover the bodies, the families cry just as much, people die just as much. Here people don't do activism, people are just trying to survive and the real people of East Aleppo as Idlib or elsewhere also, they do not want to continue to put oil on the fire and simply wants that this shit stops on one side or the other, especially the other. I honestly would say that Syria in general has been covered by this black smoke to un-allow people to see through except from a certain point of view, life has been erased on one side here, and on the other hand the suffering of the people is being instrumental in giving you 1/4 of images, in decontextualizing situations, by continually staging and cropping the images, selling the war through perception effects.
The suffering is real, those who know the war, whether it's rockets or bombs planes, know what that means, ... the real problem is to understand that, without terrorists, as for Aleppo, people would live in peace. You are sold a revolution for freedom, against oppression, and if indeed there are many people who have experienced unfair things and who hate the government as in any country at different levels, the majority you will laugh when you come to tell them that your "rebels" come to bring them freedom, besides a large number if not the majority of "fighters" are foreign mercenaries, what are Chechens, Uighurs, Afghans, Sudaneses, Tunisians (not to mention the thousands of Europeans) etc. have to
