? Well, I started listening to his antics a couple weeks ago now -- Glad i did; Learning in baby-steps. Slow growth... but growth none-the-less, at least i hope. This is a microcosm of a larger teaching. Kill your personal Godzilla with this 8 minute, but still cut, version here: https://youtu.be/eyxZiwRNDSw?t=174 Basically, the lesson is: Pay attention to your reactive feeling (whether hurt, fear, anger, whatever) and interrupt it. Know that your mind created that emotion, so replace it with good emotion. Rinse and repeat lifelong. Of course there are deeper teachings, but this is a good pebble.
? Flying 7" here. This EmuFlight dev-build is damned good, IMHO. But i also changed my PIDs yet again after i saw jello here. I think this flight was the least boring flight of my weekend sessions, albeit not the best tune. This weekend was the first time in 3 weeks since i flew.

? Flying the Screech with WinDancer 5042's. I spent 3 weeks of hard-core CLI commanding. I even restarted from defaults. I have more filters than i'd like to admit, and still a bit of gyro jitter & jello. However, this session felt pretty good playing with momentum and getting that stick-time in. I had to come back close range because my R9M range is degrading fast! anyone have this problem? EDIT: IPEX issue / Beat-up motors un-tunable!

⚙ For my 7th ever FPV "session" (i.e. day-of-flying), i headed out to tune PIDs. ...but...
? "Tuning" went back near defaults over the next few sessions.

? The NOOB took 2 days (5 packs each) to estimate some fair enough PIDs. Flew with HQ 5x5V1S bi-props. By the end of this video, PIDs are 80% of "P's" first audible oscillations on Roll and Pitch. My "I" and "D" are not yet locked in, but they feel better and will do for now until i gain more skills. ⚙ HelioRC Spring v1 BuF 3.6.2/IMUF 1.1.0

EDIT: FIXED: wire on wiring harness was broken. i could not see until opening the "hood". had to re-crimp and solder the microscopic JST-crimp, which was FRIGGEN HARD!! i needed 3.0 glasses + magnifying glass, and some LUCK!!!

Originally: When i plug in, i'm getting high amperage on my current-draw. This is a new problem that just started. upwards of 70amps as you can see above. still flies fine, faulty electronics or really pulling high amps?

I have OpenTX to report high current, so i was surprised when it announced such upon pack #3 plugin. No crashes today so don't know what triggered this.
i hit some water the other day and had to dry out, but flew 6 packs since, then this started today being the 7th pack since.
