Hello Friends! Yup. It's late and I got sidetracked but I committed to doing some kind of movement every day. I'm not even thinking about the ACV drink anymore. I'm just doing it so it feels like that's an established habit now. The exercise part though... I'm being a little vulnerable by sharing the first 5 burpees I've done in about 5 years. I already know I'm seriously out of shape but I'm documenting my health journey and the ugly fat comes with it. I'm at least 40 pounds overweight (I think). I don't have a scale but I'd like to be in size 12 jeans again. That's it! Thank you for being part of my journey. See you tomorrow - hopefully earlier in the day. I had a message from my son that they are at the hospital waiting for the birth of their first child! My beautiful daughter-in-law is in labor and we're all waiting for the delivery of their daughter - my first grandchild! I will not be sharing photos publicly unless I have permission but I'd rather leave that at the discretion of my children. It's more about privacy and safety more than anything. I'm a little scatterbrained today but I managed to get my run done. Drank my ACV and livestreamed. Now to TRY and get some work done...if I can stop checking for new messages on my phone. Hello, Friends! It's a beautiful day in Florida and I got my sneakers on and went for another 1-mile walk to the park and back. My brain was kind of throwing a mini-tantrum as I changed clothes and put on my sneakers. You know... working from home has the benefit of working in my jammies. When I go walking, I have to strap myself into a bra and get dressed. I'm fighting against silly things like that to create a good healthy habit. 1 mile is still taking me about 22 minutes. I don't know if I'll ever speed up but I'll keep doing this mile until I don't feel challenging and when my lungs stop burning afterwards. Yeah, I'm out of shape. That's why I'm doing this. Tune in tomorrow. I have no idea what the weather will be but as long as it's nice outside, I'll keep walking - otherwise it's burpees -- and those suck.
