Halo, level 2 ('Halo') on Heroic. Hot new discovery! Originally I thought a wandering Banshee down low was probably stuck down there for good. But shortly before releasing my last instalment, I realized I could actually get such a Banshee back up! Amusing stuff, and it makes a fun challenge too. Here are three examples, all done that day. They're in chronological order and my technique gets better as we go.
Halo, level 9 ('Keyes') on Heroic. This shows three plays of the Flood onslaught challenge seen set up in BCM120. I start with the prime combo of shotty and plasma pistol, then try out two others - including some needling! Actually the needler turned out to be a lot of fun - certainly a viable option on Heroic - so you can expect some more of that in a later movie.

Halo, level 6 ('Guilty Spark 343') on Easy. More yeti Flood business with log guy. I've already done a movie on getting close (BCM262), and one on keeping him alive when he normally would've been killed off by the game (BCM265), but there's still another facet to cover. Namely, there are two ways he can get blocked from teleporting when he falls off the log (so, another way of keeping him alive). Check it out!

Halo, level 10 ('The Maw') on Easy. With a snatched Banshee you can fly to the hangar instead of driving there. In this movie using clips from multiple plays, I also show some novel things you can do for fun along the way or when there. Happily, starting the journey promptly after the snatch can prevent Cortana from nagging you about getting back into the hog. That's what I did, in all this playing from the checkpoint obtained at the start of BCM161.

Halo, level 5 ('Assault on the Control Room') on Heroic. In further regard to the topic of force-launching in the entry chamber, I found that by getting a sideways deflection off the alcove ceiling, you can launch across the shaft, with the Banshee potentially going almost upside-down! This movie shows some of the fun I got out of it.

Halo, level 2 ('Halo') on Legendary. My tower ascent in BCM322 was a multi-hour struggle and very much a first stab, but now I've refined the method, making ascent fairly routine. The main improvements are (a) better grenade pile management and (b) using Dark Helmet's launching style from yesteryear, in which you stand on the Warthog's chain-gun. In this movie you'll see me trying out the new plan, and later adding a timing tweak. Plus there's a bonus trick at the end: getting back down again!

Halo, level 5 ('Assault on the Control Room') on Normal. Continuing with the tower zone megabattle, here are four fun-filled plays with the sniper rifle and rocket launcher, including one indoors. I'm using the same set-up featured in BCM445 and BCM446.

Halo, level 5 ('Assault on the Control Room') on Legendary. Some Grunts are red and some are orange, but this one looks like he wanted to jazz things up a bit! Check out this ultra-freaky finding in the cavern, which happened when I was attempting a zero-hit kill 'em all run.

Halo, level 2 ('Halo') on Heroic. Third in a five-movie sequence which began with BCM129, this shows three plays of a rockslide megabattle save featuring a squad of 11 Marines waiting for me to join them in a far area defence against 33 covies. This time I have the luxury of a sniper rifle, backed by a pistol. That makes the fighting a bit shorter than normal, so I've made this movie a triple play.

Halo, level 5 ('Assault on the Control Room') on Normal. The tower zone megabattle carnage continues. The gang had so much fun getting head-whanged and rocketed last time that we're back for more. Which is to say, another four plays with sniper rifle and rocket launcher. Enjoy!
