Two sessions, one recap! Yeah, I'm behind, as usual, but this one worked out okay because the first of the two sessions covered here was extremely abbreviated (my fault, natch) so it makes better sense lumped together with what followed than as a standalone. To summarize, the party had their loot appraised, picked up a job to deliver a message, and made a not-so-detailed report of their dungeon foray to one of the factions. They took the message, delivered it, and, while waiting for a reply, got wind of a soothsayer maybe witch in the vicinity who could potentially answer questions and/or provide guidance. They got the return message from the now troubled recipient of the message and then decided to seek out the soothsayer before returning home. While preparing to camp en route to the seer, they hear a pack of Hyaenadons (my take on gnolls) hunting someone or something in the area. The session ended with them deciding whether to fight or hide or do something else.
