There’s a Whole New Woke Vocabulary Faith Debate: October 18th, 2020 News Radio 930 WFMD in Frederick, Maryland
“Critical Race Theory”, “White Privilege”, “Systemic Racism”, “Social Justice Warrior”, “Cultural Marxism”, “Intersectionality”, and a whole bunch of new terms have been added to the American pop-culture lexicon with the rapid ascendency of the “Black Lives Matter” slogan, organization, and movement.
What do these new terms mean, and from whence did they come? Are they even new? Is it a political divide? A religious divide? A worldview divide? A cultural divide? What are faithful Bible-believing followers of Christ supposed to do and think?
For many years, Adam “AD” Robles has been all over this issue like a tick on a sweet-blooded deer. And he’s back with the Faith Debate over the phone for a fourth go-round in this four-part series of shows.
The panel: Troy Skinner. Pastor of Household of Faith in Christ Jonathan Switzer. Founder of Crossed Bridges Adam AD Robles. Host of the “AD” YouTube podcast

Each week Household of Faith in Christ commits to teaching God’s Word and engaging in conversations that matter.
This week our congregation was blessed to hear from one of the best voices this generation has to offer on one of this generation’s most pressing challenges - the defense of the true biblical faith against what the Apostle Paul calls “another gospel”.
Jon Harris helps feed the sheep and identify the wolves through his various ministries connected to his “Conversations That Matter” platform. Find him and all of his resources at www.worldviewconversation.com.
And, of course, find Household of Faith in Christ and its resources at www.householdoffaithinchrist.com.

One of your neighbors has written a book. In it he exposes, through his personal experience and those of others, what he calls the unfathomable joy of tapping into God’s Omniscience. This is Rohan Stewart’s first book. “Renewing Your Mind Daily” shares a number of messages that he says he got through dreams, and he provides his case that the culture of God’s Kingdom mandates that its citizenry experience the supernatural realm.

“How Do I Make My Heart Trust God When He Seems Abstract To Me?”
Program Air Date: Sunday, January 13th, 2019 – 9am
News Radio 930 WFMD in Frederick, Maryland
A listener writes:
“How do I make my heart trust when God seems abstract? Intellectually I know He is real, but not so to my heart and experience. Since Jesus is Peace personified, I can’t know Him without having inner peace despite circumstances. And since I haven’t peace, I must not have Him. Isn’t this true? I’m sorry to be so bleak, but that’s where I am. I’ve talked to pastors and counselors, and they don’t understand….they seem to presume I’m saved simply because I’m concerned about it, but so were King Saul, Cain, and Judas… I’m afraid I’m like them.”
This is the second half of a two-part show during which we read a series of emails from a listener and share the program’s responses. The listener expressed hope that “The Faith Debate” would tackle the subject she has raised, and we will have a panel discussion about these questions. But first we will complete the sharing of the email exchanges during this episode.
There is no panel for this particular show as Troy Skinner (930 WFMD Host/Moderator of The Faith Debate) flies solo for the week. Incidentally, there is a sermon transcript link mentioned during the show. Click here for that link. https://www.gty.org/library/sermons-library/48-20/the-christians-assurance-of-salvation
