1989 EZGO Engine Swap and Stretch Project Pt. 1
I picked up an EZGO Marathon with a blown 2 stroke engine and decided rather than tear the motor down AND try to find all of the missing components to the cart; I would just install a 6.5 hp Predator motor from HF.
I will be gradually refurbishing and stretching the cart - and possibly lifting as well - AFTER the swap. I haven't done one of these before; so there's going to be a learning curve. I will attempt to document the process in case someone else is thinking of doing this. Also, if anyone has done this before, any and all insight is greatly appreciated! If there's a better or easier way, I'm open to suggestions!
