Don't ask. Raph stops Meat Sweats from sending poison pizza puffs to a food critic. Despite his efforts, it seems his brothers don't listen. In turn, they suffer the side effects of these things. Now it's up to Raph and the Turtles, especially Leo, Don and Mikey must find Meat Sweats and get the antidote before the effects become permanent. It's a Raph episode but you really can't help but feel for him. His brothers are idiots and unfortunately the idiot ball has hit them hard. However, at least his siblings are able to put their idiocy aside for the sake of doing what's right. As for Meat Sweats, this guy's motivation is revenge against his critics. I call it petty but at least he gets his just desserts. As for the Turtles, they do get cured but you really feel bad for Raph because having to deal with them can be a major hassle. The episode was good. I did enjoy it but like I said, I feel that Raph gets the worst of it when the Turtles don't listen. I feel for him. Animation still solid and the action is just as fun. We also face off against some new foes but the big focus is getting our hands on a certain Attack FX badge. What for? The boss fight. Oh and we also have Koops joining us. Think of it as Kooper from the first game but a bit better. At the end of the trek, we meet Hooktail, a giant dragon who likes to munch on people. But he has a weakness for crickets. So yeah, this boss can actually be harder if you don't equip a certain Attack FX badge. If you do so then you'll last. The Hooktail fight is split into two phases. He has 20 HP. Phase one has you dealing with him normally. As long as you attack him with the Attack FX badge equipped, the fight will be easy. Whatever you do, do NOT spare Hooktail. Keep saying no and it'll lead to Phase 2. Phase 2 is where he'll consume some of the crowd to regain 10 HP. Just keep attacking and the fight is over. Beating Hooktail not only frees Koops' dad but we also get the first Crystal Star. From here on out, the next segments are split between Princess Peach and Bowser. With Peach, she meets with a computer named TEC who wants to learn about emotion. In exchange, she provides info to Mario. While Bowser though, he has a journey of his own. We then return back to Rogueport and meet up with the Professor but not before we learn the whereabouts of the next Crystal Star. We enter the Honeybee Inn and we have to do a rhythm-based mini game. We get some practice but then we have to do the real thing. It's not easy but hey, it leads to a moment that I enjoy: Cloud dressing like a woman to meet with Don Corneo. It's hilarious. In the original FF7, you had to do a series of quests to get all the materials needed and if you wanted, you can go one step further to make Cloud even sexier. Here however, it happens after completing some quests and earning some respect. That says a lot. Anyway, we meet with Don Corneo and plus, encounter Tifa. Tifa tells us that after Mako Reactor 5, Barret and her were being questioned by Don Corneo's men. This has her investigating, causing her to reach Sector 6 and the Wall Market. And after Don Corneo chooses Cloud thanks to his attitude, Tifa and Aerith end up beating down a bunch of mooks. Eventually we confront the Don and it's here we learn the truth. Shinra plans to wipe out AVALANCHE by dropping the Support Plates that hold Sector 7's topside, effectively crushing the bottom side and everyone in it. That's crazy. It's a race against time now. This means one thing: we're back at full force. Welcome to my playthrough of Metroid Prime Hunters. This game came out two years after Metroid Prime 2: Echoes but surprisingly, it came out for the Nintendo DS. We wouldn't get Metroid Prime 3: Corruption until a year later and that's going to come up after this. So yeah, let's get on with this. Being that this game is dual screened, all the action will be at the top and I will be changing up my controls by Part 2. So yes, in terms of story, this is set inbetween Metroid Prime 1 & Prime 2. The story centers on Samus traveling to another part of the galaxy having heard about an ultimate power. But thing is, it's not just Samus that got word of it. Six other bounty hunters have as well and now it's a fight for the ultimate prize. We begin in the Alymbic Cluster but it's here that we have a showdown with one of the six Bounty Hunters. Something about this is that there's a weakness system in place for the other bounty hunters. You do get weapons based off of the six Hunters and you need to use them to put them in their place. Our objective is to obtain the eight Octoliths. Not only that but you start with most of your equipment and upgrades. There are missile expansions and energy tanks to find though. You got your work cut out for ya. We do recover one of the eight Octoliths.
