Pokémon Emerald Version (French) - Catching Latias
After beating the Elite Four, you’ll end up home at Littleroot Town and watch TV about the news about a legendary Pokémon roaming all over Hoenn. If you choose red, Latias will roam the routes of Hoenn. It will be on Level 40 but will flee on the first turn. If you choose blue while watching the news bulletin, Latias will be at the Southern Island and you need an Eon Ticket to get there that can be obtained via Nintendo Event. If you have the Eon Ticket, go to the shipyard in Lillycove City and the attendant will examine the ticket you have so you can be eligible to go to the Southern Island. At the Southern Island, save your game in front of the mysterious ball. Interact with the mysterious ball and Latias will arrive. Latias will be on Level 50. Its signature move is Mist Ball, a move that will lower the target’s Special Attack stat 50% of the time when the move hits. Use Ultra Balls and status problems for a better capture result. Once you capture Latias at the Southern Island, you’ll notice that it is holding a special item called Soul Dew. Soul Dew raises the Special Attack and Special Defense stats if held by Latias or Latios. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1Yn_t-9ycI
The stage begins with wizards dropping pellets that turn into flame pillars. Up ahead, there are Like Likes that throw eggs. At the next section, an unknown vessel will open the path up. Go through and shoot down some ice blocks that will thaw out some Moas. Remove the ice blocks in the path and climb the ladders to encounter a swarm of dragonflies. A big penguin will release smaller units, so aim for the eyes of the penguin. Descend a few sections and navigate some platforms over the water. Submarine fish will shoot missiles that travel upward, so be sure to dodge them while you can. Dragonflies will eventually appear, so don’t let them knock you over. Climb the ladders and you’ll see a duo of grasshoppers along with an armored eye. Enter the cap doors and you’ll battle against a Wizzrobe. The Wizzrobe will create a duplicate of itself and run around the room. Once its vitality is half way down, the duplicate will disappear. With the lone Wizzrobe remaining, it will release a sonic wave that bounces off the walls. Using Bombchus will deal more damage. After defeating the Wizzrobe, you’ll receive the Magical Rod.

Return to the Castle of Exdeath and go to the 10th floor. Be warned as you ascend the remainder of the castle as there are pits of lava and other traps to navigate. Some skulls tiles on the floor could lead top traps and drop you to the lower floors. One of the skull tiles will wrap you to where a green orb is, which will lead to a duel against Carbunkle. Carbunkle will fast fire, ice, and lightning spells to damage your entire team. It also has spells that can petrify, confuse, or sap the victim. One move can cause instant death on one character. Because Carbunkle is protected by a glowing effect, it floats to avoid earthquakes and can deflect any opposing spells back to the attacker. When running low on health, Carbunkle can use the curing spell to recover. After defeating it, you’ll gain the ability to summon Carbunkle during battle.
