How To Lightly Felt Wool Roving For Arm Knitting Yarn Truly Majestic is at make or break point, we urgently need your support. Step 1 Run the entire length of wool roving through your hands and work on the problem areas by stretching them out and smoothing them back onto the bulk of the roving. Step 2 Wind the entire length into a loose centre pull ball. As the wool roving runs through your hand the friction contributes to it lightly felting by the end of the long process. Step 3 - Knit up all the wool roving into anything (blanket, chain, whatever). Step 4 - Unravel your project VERY gently Step 5 Repeat Steps 2 - 4 several times... usually wool roving will take on some stiffness after about 3 or 4 times, but it varies with different types of wool.
