Monster MD - Everything I didn't want in a comic made awesome
Monster MD is either an incredibly well designed and managed or lucky coincidence of comic that fires on all cylinders. This book takes a number of overused subjects and brings in new life to the story and art to make the monster sub genera fresh again. The art is so on the money the dialogue is almost superfluous. The text would be superfluous in the average comic by the big two, but Von Klaus manages to give unique voices to a menagerie of characters you don't see often outside of classic Chris Claremont books.
The main story revolves around Wyatt, a former med school student who suffered a tragic accident who now treats monsters and other cryptids out of a converted van. He's assisted by his gorgeous, but invisible assistant Heidi.

Superman Man of Tomorrow is the first movie in DC animation's reboot of the DC universe. DC decided to double down on Clark being an alien by having people figure out his secret within the first 30 minutes of him saving a plane full of people. Lex Luthor somehow figures out Superman is powered by the sun, and Lobo has a Kryptonite ring to capture Superman despite Clark being the last Kryptonian. DC quickly reestablishes all of the old Superman tropes while adding new paranoia against "aliens."
The big question is where does the DC comics animated universe go from here? Is it just going to remake all of the storylines we've already seen in the animated movies or will they show us something new? Will they at least give new takes on the stories we've already see? Time will tell.
