Puffy LiPo LG Cell Phone battery, super dangerous possible explosion and burn down house Stylo 4 5 6
Lithium polymer always make me nervous. I've seen them explode before and its not pretty. I was replacing the screen on my kids cell phone on his LG Stylo 4 when I noticed the back of the battery cover was being pulled off my an expanding battery. These batteries can basically turn into a thermite grenade or explode. This is the first time I have every seen a cell phone battery do this. I've seen it in RC batteries because of rapid charging.
I designed this for my Celeritas crossXY printer but it should work with any 2020 2040 based frame rail printer. Great for coreXY printers that want to take speed to a whole new level. This was designed for super high speed printers that need light hotends. The large gears give you some serious clamping force on the filament. You wont be limited to a nema 14. A large nema 17 motor will cut through the filament before it starts losing steps. T designed this with a unique indexable feature that will allow you to dial on the Bowden tube angle.

I needed a new punch down tool to replace my stolen fluke. I saw the Klein punch down tool at home depot. The fluke is the winner. If you run network cable for a living you will know having the wire hook is invaluable..

I picked up this TV on craigslist for $25. I thought I would try and fix it. The problem was the controller board. I was getting a standby light and voltage but the TV would not turn on. I tried testing caps and circuits but finally threw in the towel and bought the replacement boards for $37 on shopjimmy.com. I'm into this TV now for about $70. Not bad for a TV that cost $400 new.

I love my old Printrbot. I want to keep this alive as long as possible. The thing prints better then my more expensive printers. I like the new 32bit systems. Atom blows doors on the Arduino IDE. I can copy my bin file and I'm done. No more direct USB connection to upload firmware.

I work in Newport Beach / Irvine. This place was the wild west of Mortgage company scams. I work in IT and detected this bug in a wiring closet about 12 years ago. I was cleaning out some stuff the other day and found it. One of my clients had this on there analog phone line back in the floor closet. I'm guessing this was for stealing leads and clients. I did some research on it when I found it but was too busy to mess with it back then. You also did not have cheap software defined radio back then. I decided to setup a VOIP to analog converter to see if I could get this to work.

My BLTouch starting acting up and I was not able to run a G28 command or home. I first noticed this when my printer was doing bed leveling or G29. I've had this problem in the past so I knew what to do. Turn out to be a loose connector in my wire loom. Hopefully this video help solving this problem quicker.

My Lead acid batteries finally died so I was in the market for batteries. I decided to look at Walmart and was surprised the AGM batteries were so cheap. Its been over a week and the batteries work great. Enough CCA to turn the engine over without a problem.

My 3 year old BLtouch probe pin finally started sticking. The BLtouch is right near a bunch a fans and debris / dust will get pushed inside after awhile. The repair solution is to remove probe and clean on the inside with electronics cleaner. You will have reset you Z offset after removing the set screw. You want a zero reside electronics cleaner like the one below.
