Gnome Builder is a Linux IDE that helps you write awesome applications GTK applications for ElementaryOS and other GTK distros.
Gnome Builder is a relatively new IDE for Gnome that sort of replaces the previous defacto IDE, Anjuta. Gnome Builder still has some growing and maturing to do but overall it is a decent and stable little IDE.
Since ElementaryOS' desktop environment is Pantheon which is based entirely on GTK+ and Vala, Gnome Builder fits right in, looking like a native Elementary app, and enables developers to write great GTK applications.

Running KDE Neon inside a Docker container on KDE Neon sounds pretty weird.. Or does it?
UPDATE - Jonathan Riddell updated the Ruby script I attempted to use in this video. If you follow the directions on the KDE website with the latest version of the script, everything should work great right out of the box! - https://community.kde.org/Neon/Docker
Remember that running a KDE application inside a Docker container really only makes sense for developers and system testers, not end-users. Applications running in Docker do not have direct access to the host's file system.
In short, you shouldn't open an image in Gwenview running inside Docker unless the image was also inside your Docker container. The same goes for text files in Kate, etc.
The great part about this is if you wanted to add a feature to Dolphin but you didn't want to break your system, you would hack on Dolphin running inside a Docker container. Sure you could use a VM but Docker containers are so much more lightweight.

The first alpha of my silly platformer prototype is done! It's written in Godot and the sprites & textures are from Duck Tales on NES, one of my favorite classic platformer games.
I'm building this prototype to help myself learn Godot so I can make original games for game jams and stuff.

The start of a new year seems like a great time to show you my Linux desktop and some of the tweaks I make to it.
It's pretty much vanilla Debian Testing with a very minimal KDE Plasma Desktop. I'm using X Server and PulseAudio instead of the leading edge stuff like Wayland and Pipewire.
My workstation is a laptop; it's an ASUS ROG Strix G15 - https://youtu.be/tq6cim71bW8

Ansible is a powerful configuration management tool that helps automate updating your systems and servers, among many other things.
If you're familiar with other CM tools like Puppet or Chef, Ansible functions very much like Puppet Masterless or Chef Solo. It is designed to automate system administration tasks without having to write and maintain a bunch of bash scripts. CM tools are the foundation of a solid DevOps engineer.
I used an Ansible playbook in this video, which is an integral part of the Ansible ecosystem. The ansible-playbook command makes it super easy to run playbooks with either Ansible roles or tasks, but you don't have to organize all of them in a playbook.
If you administer servers, whether they be Windows Servers or Linux Servers, it would behoove you to learn about configuration management. Powershell is often used in Windows environments however Ansible can run against Windows servers too.
Both Bash and Powershell have a strong tendency to get out of hand and result in code bases being unwieldy and difficult to maintain. CM tools like Ansible solve this problem entirely.
