Dr. Phil just couldn't resist making his guests look stupid by cherry picking information to make jim west aka formerly me look bad and mya to look like a mentally ill victim. The dr phil team informed Jim that Mya'a mother wouldn't be appearing or providing any statements for the episode however they did show a statement from her which isn't the first occurence of this remember what they did with bailey? They don't shy away from this as they show a do or die attack on Jim from the mothers statement which she did try to retract after the filming however the producers disregarded the plea from the mother and went ahead because she signed a release to show her statement regardless if it were to be true. Dr Phil accuses Jim of being the sole reason of how mya became tessi because he is abusive which isn't the case as there is no evidence of that. According to doctor phil he shouldn't defend himself against accusations from her simps even if that means at the loss of his job. Tessi trolls dr phil into believing that her father is abusive and she is just a little princess. I wouldn't trust dr phil's word as we have seen from breaking the silence that this 70 year old guy has sent troubled teens to a domestic violent ranch called the turn about ranch. By cherry picking information and by editing video clips they are manipulating the narrative of the events to paint Jim as the worst parent in the country.
