Dangers of Preaching Christ? Faith Debate: April 17th, 2016 News Radio 930 WFMD in Frederick, Maryland
Is there a danger to preaching about Christ from the Old Testament? Is there an even greater danger to preaching from the Old Testament and failing to point people to Christ?
The Panel: Troy Skinner. Pastor, Household of Faith in Christ Jonathan Switzer. Pastor, Crossroads Valley Chapel Tom Weil. Pastor, Brunswick First Church of God
Household of Faith in Christ was edified by a message from evangelist Bernie Beall of Great Commission Families. His sermon on Galatians chapter five, titled "Freedom in Christ, Freedom in America" highlights spiritual lessons found in American history and particularly in the nation's capital.
Bernie's son, Daniel Beall, blessed the congregation with a recitation of Galatians 5 from memory. It was a very special treat. GreatCommissionFamilies.org

The U.S., the U.K. and the French military responded with force after haunting images of poisoned and dying children surfaced in the aftermath of a chemical weapons attack in Syria. President Donald Trump promised a swift response and followed through with bombings of strategic targets in Syria. What does this mean? What should we understand about the politics surrounding the building of Israeli settlements? Is a two-state solution the answer to the Palestinian homeland question? How should people view the strong hand of Benjamin Netanyahu in leading Israel’s government? Should Jerusalem be recognized by the United States as the capital of Israel? Is the PLO a terrorist organization? We might not get to all of these questions, but we’ll do our best.
