NSFW warning! Alright, here is the final reveal of the Mai Shiranui resin garage kit. She is the kunoichi, master of flame magic and throws folding fans as her projectiles. Rivaling Street Fighter 2's Chun Li in popularity, Mai's debut in Fatal Fury 2 also marked the debut of "breast physics" in video games, as far as I know. Her jiggle factor is probably what she is best known for. A photoset of this build is on my Tumblr feed here:

Hope you enjoy Mai's theme from Fatal Fury 2 on the Sharp X68000 at the end of the video. The enhanced soundtrack adds shakuhachi flute and shamisen banjo as a nice touch.
This marks the end to the video game group build.

Here's an update on the progress and setbacks on the DeLorean, and I show why the detail on the Aoshima version is superior to the Polar Lights version. I also show a photoetched parts set I received from the Aoshima company!
Check out my YouTube friend's build of the Aoshima DeLorean here:

I've hit a snag on the Honda Fit model, so I'm taking a break and working on other stuff at the moment. Here's the Nausicaa and Ohmu model I saw at the IPMS international convention in Phoenix last year. I bought it on my last trip to Japan earlier this year.

Here's a neat store in Sedona, AZ: Ye Olde UFO Store. My wife and I enjoy visiting this store when we visit the town. Their Website is http://yeoldeufostore.com/ and I have to give thumbs up for using the X-Files theme on the homepage. I'm a big X-Files fan. Whether you're a UFO enthusiast or just an SF fan like myself, this store is pretty cool to check out. Sedona is known as a UFO hotspot, and interestingly enough my wife knew of this a long time ago before I ever did when we used to be pen pals (and I'm an AZ native). She'd read in a Japanese magazine about UFO sightings in Sedona. It's a very cool store with displays of information of various sightings and phenomenon, including the Phoenix Lights, which were observed by countless people across the state and I remember that night quite well. The owner has a great sense of humor. Check it out!

This little model was given to me back in April from a coworker. I've been slowly working on this occasionally.
