紅隼(Eurasian Kestrel)身長約 33至39公分，展翅65 - 82公分重量136至314公克。紅隼常定點鼓翅、背部為紅褐色帶有黑色斑點，眼為黑褐色，嘴灰黑色，蠟膜黃色，腳黃色。雌雄鳥略有差異，雄鳥頭至後頸為鼠灰色，雌鳥則為紅褐色。眼下有黑褐色縱帶，胸腹部為淡褐色，佈滿許多黑褐色縱斑，尾羽灰色，接近末端有黑色寬橫帶，尾羽末端白色。雌鳥體上顏色較暗，幼鳥外形與雌鳥較為相似，但背部黑色橫斑更為濃密。
紅隼廣泛分布於歐亞大陸和非洲，在台灣沒有繁殖記錄。紅隼分布於東亞、日本的亞種冬天會到南亞、東南亞地區度冬，在台灣度冬的族群可能兩者皆有。每年10月到隔年3月在學甲濕地 , 台江濕地 , 沙崙農場 , 高屏溪出海口 , 龍鑾潭 都有機會和紅隼相遇。
觀賞與拍攝野生動物時，應保持適當距離，心存善念，說好話，做好事堅持賞鳥初衷 ，不要捕抓 ，不要追逐，不要破壞，不要驚嚇，不要引誘才是正確的觀鳥態度和行為。

There are things we don't do now, and we won't do in the future either.
The Eurasian Kestrel, with a body length of about 33 to 39 centimeters and a wingspan of 65 to 82 centimeters, weighs between 136 to 314 grams. The Eurasian Kestrel often hovers in place, with a reddish-brown back adorned with black spots. Its eyes are dark brown, its beak is gray-black, its cere is yellow, and its legs are yellow. There's a slight difference between male and female birds. The male's head and nape are mouse gray, while the female is reddish-brown. There's a dark brown stripe beneath the eyes, the chest and belly are light brown with numerous vertical black-brown streaks, the tail feathers are gray with a broad black terminal band, and the tail tip is white. The female bird has darker colors, and juvenile birds resemble females more, but they have denser black streaks on their backs.

The Eurasian Kestrel is widely distributed across Europe, Asia, and Africa, but there's no breeding record in Taiwan. The species is found in East Asia, and the Japanese subspecies migrates to South Asia and Southeast Asia in the winter. It's possible that both populations visit Taiwan in the winter. From October to March of the following year, there are opportunities to encounter Eurasian Kestrels in habitats like the Shueijia Wetlands, Tainan River Wetlands, Shanlin Farm, Kaohsiung River Estuary, and Longluantan.

When observing and photographing wild animals, it's important to maintain an appropriate distance, approach with good intentions, use kind words, and engage in actions that uphold the original purpose of birdwatching. Don't capture, chase, disturb, startle, or lure. This is the correct attitude and behavior for birdwatching.

今、やらないことは、将来も行いません。
ヨーロッパチョウゲンボウの体長は約33〜39センチで、翼長は65〜82センチ、体重は136〜314グラムです。ヨーロッパチョウゲンボウはよくその場で羽ばたき、赤褐色の背中に黒い斑点があります。目は暗褐色で、くちばしは灰黒色、くちばしの軟部は黄色、足は黄色です。雄雌の鳥にわずかな違いがあります。雄の頭と後頸は鼠色で、雌は赤褐色です。目の下には暗褐色の縦線があり、胸と腹は淡褐色で、多数の縦線があり、尾羽は灰色で、幅広い黒い末端帯があり、尾の先は白いです。雌の鳥は色が濃く、幼鳥は雌に似ていますが、背中にはより濃い黒い縞があります。

ヨーロッパチョウゲンボウはヨーロッパ、アジア、アフリカに広く分布していますが、台湾では繁殖記録はありません。この種は東アジアに分布し、日本の亜種は冬に南アジアと東南アジアに渡ります。両方の個体群が台湾を冬に訪れる可能性があります。10月から翌年の3月にかけて、水甲湿地、台江湿地、山林農場、高屏川河口、龍鑾潭などでヨーロッパチョウゲンボウに出会うチャンスがあります。

野生動物を観察・撮影する際には、適切な距離を保ち、良い意図をもって接し、優しい言葉を使い、鳥観察の本来の目的を守る行動を取ることが重要です。捕獲したり、追いかけたり、妨げたり、驚かせたり、誘惑したりしないでください。これが正しい鳥観察の態度と行動です。
