Deep Rock Galactic (with Phoenix) - M.U.L.E. Salvage
I've done my promotion already, and the time has finally come for Phoenix to do it too. The next set of missions will be about him getting the Scout up and then some of the unlocks that become available after getting a promotion.
And on the topic of promotions, I managed to get an overclock for my CRISPR, so I went back to the flamethrower. I lost some range, but my fuel tank is bigger, which I think is a bit of a good trade off. I also swapped some of the other skills in response to this, changing it from a CC flamethrower to DPS. It looks pretty potent. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAEOj8AH97I
I've been neglecting a lot of the trial chests for the longest time, and I decide to fill out the video by doing those before doing the bonding events. You get to see quite a few of the characters I plan on never using, upgrading their brave orders that I will also never use, and then spend time with characters because the game ripped off that piece of Persona. On the plus side, Kurt gets some new swords!

There were less conversations here than I was expecting to be honest. Thing is that without any major bombshells being dropped, it may continue to be like this...

With this, we've caught up to everything I recorded in advance. As such, I cannot promise releases for the coming week unless I get the opportunity to play over the weekend. This is something I may touch upon in an upcoming update video.
Otherwise, the collision course between C and Rean reaches its climax with the arrival of reinforcements for the Thors team. We have to face off against them and when everything is said and done, C gives the Thors team a clue about Olivert before taking off to possibly run into the Crossbell team.

This is a hidden quest that is fairly easy to stumble upon, but I almost missed it thinking that the counterfeiter quest was triggered here instead. Anyway, we knew for some time that there was some trouble in Pierre's marriage and here we get to help him confront the problem. Only time will tell if they can truly heal from here, but the first step has been made and it is out of our hands.

Something has changed in practically every region, so we set out to explore each and every one of them. There are 3 hidden quests to be found, 2 of which are on the ship, so be thorough. I did not bother counting the unity events, but those are there too.
There is only a small amount of combat in here where we smash Duvalie's combat bots. They are not as dangerous as she advertises, so it goes smoother than I first anticipated.
We stop part way with the tour, but will finish it in the following video. Then we will have the quest and combat video, so if you want to know what the common people think and feel, this one is for you.

With Katashi's route behind us and Kimiko on hold, we hop back to Logiship where the major divergence takes place. I wasn't sure who all could die here (at the time), so I made a random shot and the system offed Beatrix as a result. This is a unique death of hers that we have not seen before that ultimately leads us to Shizuka and Yoshiki in terms of ending. As for which one we get, we will need to see how the bidding wars go...

A new character makes his entrance while Hagana's program goes into effect. However, there is a little working behind the scenes that won't be revealed until the next part, namely why Chris showed up when she did, but Hal couldn't afford to stick around as he had a meeting to go to. The stakes are about to reach an all-time high as we continue to plow forward.

After far too long, we return to our MC to get a little more information about the mystery that is unraveling. We start things off with a new NPC from Ochette's story, then you get to see what everyone is using while I'm at the bar. As for what we see here, we spend the vast majority of the video investigating and talking before the twist strikes and we can go into combat (briefly). People say this is supposed to be one of the nastier bosses, but I did so much stuff before coming here that I could withstand what was thrown. Whether that is true or not, we'd probably need a different playthrough to find out.

For the final rune, we need to perform a daring prison break. Unlike Emilia's chapter to come, we are breaking in instead of out. However, you will pick up Annie along the way, so if you spend some time developing her, it can help out immensely on a lot of other chapters. Otherwise, we need to navigate the prison that is full of one-way doors, but when we reach the boss, we are outside the room in question and can nab the final rune. With it, we gain access to Rune Magic, which is my preferred type of magic. You will need to wait until the Blue/Rouge chapters to see magic in depth, but we get some much needed healing here.
