ZoneIDAProc provides an easy way to export Linux proc-like interface for python program. It is intuitive and convenient for showing process internal data; even expose a complex computation. The talk focuses on demonstrating the magic of ZoneIDA and how it increases your program's versatility.
About the speaker
Tzung-Bi Shih was born in Xi-Hu, Taiwan, in 1988. He received Bachelor and M.S. degree in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University in 2010 and 2011, respectively. He was a R&D engineer in Trend Micro during 2011-2014.
He has been a Python programmer for 2 years. He is a beginning researcher and he is interested in operating system, computer architecture, especially, in parallel computing.
Day 2, R0 16:30–17:15
In this talk, I will present how to recognise speakers and their speaking sessions in a filmed meeting using deep learning (deep convolutional neural networks; CNN). This project uses the "transfer learning" approach. Pre-trained CNN models, such as the VGG face descriptor used in this project, enable everyone to analyse photos or videos without training his own CNN. I will explain how to use a pre-trained model to extract face features and use clustering methods to identify different people without knowing their identity in advance. Results of a real case will be shown. Application and restriction of this method will be discussed.
The speaker did not upload his slides.

As startup game makers, many people might be able to build a workable mobile game service, but have no experience in building a stable, reliable, high performance commercial mobile game service.
Sometimes we feel that our code seems to be logical correct and should work, but in reality it failed because we didn't avoid race condition very well, or we didn't apply caching mechanism appropriately.
In this talk, we will introduce how we built a game server, which is fully implemented in Python and Flask.
We are going to share some experiences with backend or online mobile game developers by showing the essence of Python code and Flask usage from game server.
Hope these guides will lead you to build a stable, reliable service in Python, and don't repeat the same mistakes we did before.

摘要 Abstract:
Instead of common Python + Travis CI tutorial, fun, real coding practice, and benefits of testing will be focused in this talk by discomposed actions in different aspects and tools surround related topics, including continuous integration (CI), debugging, packaging, and coding. Popular tools and services, for example, Jenkins, py.test, Travis CI, and Codecov will be looked at.

PyCon Taiwan 2023|Talk 演講|Day 1, R2 13:45–14:15
? 說明 Description ?
Apache Beam, an open-source solution for batch and streaming data processing pipelines, simplifies large-scale data processing dynamics based on a unified programming model. In addition, projects that are based on Apache Beam are often properly-sized, this makes the work to be implemented in a short duration, so interns are suitable for this type of work.
The speaker will introduce Apache Beam and provide their experience on intern project planning along with the expectation and business impact consideration. If you want to know what it is and what problems are solved by Apache Beam, or if you want to learn how to design an (intern) project, this talk is for you.

Day 1, R3 15:55–16:10
This lecture will give a practical report on programming education using Python for elementary school
students. Programming education for elementary school students often uses block-based programming
languages such as Scratch. In contrast, I chose to teach with Python in order to provide the students
with insights into computer and hardware mechanisms. In this report, I share an educational method
for teaching programming, using Python, to elementary school students. In addition, I report the
difficulties associated with teaching Python to elementary school students.
