Mondays are "History Day" here on the show so we're going to talk about the origin of the Ferris Wheel. I promise it's more interesting than you migh think. Of course there's news to cover as well, but I'm leaning away from reporting numbers (which I suck at anyway) and toward some analysis and getting to the "so what" of things. At least as I see them. Through all the politically motivated reporting I've tried to be moderate... thinking of the world in terms of what works and what doesn't rather than which side the message is coming from. Most of what you hear in the main stream media is exactly the opposie... and now more than ever the media is being exposed to the public for its partisan affiliations across the board. But there are voices out there and sources for information that cut through the crap. Of course, it's up to you to make sense of the world for yourself and I hope you're developing the skills to do that. You're going to need them.
