Meet my NEW Epiphone Les Paul Classic Worn! I was debating on a new guitar to pick up this fall and I decided to sell my Jackson Flying V (not really a Flying V guy anymore) and get the money to start the process of buying this. It arrived today. I did a full set-up on it, did the fret 'fall-off' for low action on high leads, and changed the strings. It's awesome! Everything works as it should and I can't wait to be playing all my favorite stuff on it - like Boston, KISS, Styx, Foreigner, etc.!! 'Subdivisions' is from Rush's 1982 album 'Signals'. The words are written by 'The Professor' Neil Peart. And the music is written by Alex 'Lerxst' Lifeson and Geddy Lee. NOTE: I make ALL of my amp sim presets from scratch unless otherwise noted. I wanted to see if the Audiority Solidus VS8100 could match those classic Marshall tones in Peter Frampton's very famous live album: Frampton Comes Alive. And, I think it did! It's nice and clear on the solos especially! I could probably EQ it a bit better - but, I wanted it to stand out a bit for the test.
