A slight tweak to our palette knife and we can paint snow! This will finish our Mystic Mountain. If your tablet has tilt sensitivity, the next lesson is for you.
Map your tablet to the monitor, handle dual-monitors, and swap to left-handed orientation, using the Tablet Settings app that comes with Linux Mint.

The plan for phase 3 is to finally make our game playable:
- We’ll spawn enemies in random locations
- Deal with the player going off the edge of the map
- Game Over
- Add some weapon variations
- Wave Difficulties
- A basic UI and Menu
By the end of this video, we’ll have our enemies spawning in random locations on our map.

Krita Meets Bob Ross - an analog to digital conversion
Learn to make a happily little picture with the help of Bob Ross, that good old free painting software Krita, and a pressure sensitive drawing tablet.
In this series, we will be following along with Bob Ross’s Mystic Mountain lesson, that’s Season 20, Episode 1 of The Joy of Painting.
We’re going to use this lesson as a fun excuse to learn how to use some of Krita’s features. The goal here is not to teach you how to copy Bob Ross, but to teach you how to use Krita to do what you want to do with it, and then turn you loose on the world!
By the end of the series you’ll have created a landscape painting that looks something like this one, and you'll have a much better understanding of many of Krita's tools.

Over the next two videos we'll create a simple HUD to display the current level, wave, player health, and ammo. The focus is mostly on connecting the data to the control labels.

By the end of this video player won’t be able to shoot through walls anymore, we’ll improve the aiming in a couple ways, tidy up a bit of code, and finally we’ll re-organize all our scenes and scripts and other resources. Oh, and a little bug in the Player hit points (h/t John II)
This will be the last video in this first phase of the series. The next phase will focus on creating a tool for random level generation.

The plan for Phase 2 is to create:
* a tool for generating levels of various sizes
* randomly placed obstacles,
* a seed so we can regenerate the levels we like.
* parameters for randomizing obstacle height,
* parameters for changing the obstacle color
* make sure the map connects by using a flood fill algorithm so that the obstacles don’t cut off sections where enemies can get stuck, and
* a way to save the levels we like for use in our game.
By the end of this video we’ll have a basic tool that will allow us to generate a level directly in the Editor, and we’ll be able to edit the map’s width, depth, and the obstacle density from within the Inspector.
