Mr. Schneider was found strangled to death in his apartment. Bizarrely the cause of death was officially said to be suicide. Mysteriously he was found with ligature marks on his neck. Phil's father Otto settled in Bethesda, Montgomery County, Maryland, where he fathered Philip Schneider, on 23 April 1947.[6] Both father and son Schneider's died in the mid-1990s, about two and half years apart.
