In this video, I will show you how to power down a base in Elite Dangerous without setting off the alarms. This is a useful skill for anyone who wants to explore settlements without being detected.
To power down a base, you will need to find the power plant. The power plant is usually located in the center of the settlement, and it is guarded by security personnel. You will need to sneak past the guards and disable the power plant in order to power down the base.
To sneak past the guards, you will need to use stealth. You can do this by crouching and moving slowly. You should also avoid making any noise. If you are seen by the guards, they will sound the alarm and you will have to fight your way out of the settlement. Try and collect access codes by scanning a guard. Find the control room or settlement alarm in the security centre and disable it
Once you have disabled the power plant, the base will be powered down. You can then explore the settlement without being detected.
Here are some tips for powering down a base without setting off the alarms:

About Battlestar Galactica Deadlock
Battlestar Galactica Deadlock Armistice is the last DLC of Season 2. Deadlock Season 2 saw the retrofit of the Battlestar Galactica and then the Ghost Fleet Offensive. In Armistice there is an 8 mission Campaign and with it comes the Battlestar Galactica Modern Ship Pack. The modern SHip pack includes Colonial Battlestar Mercury-class the most famous of this was the Battlestar Pegasus. Also in the modern Ship Pack, Support Battlestar Valkyrie and a host of Cylon ships and base stars too
ABOUT: Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is getting another major content release with the next substantial expansion pack: Sin and Sacrifice. Announced earlier today, this DLC will advance the storyline of Deadlock and give us a look at another crucial juncture of the First Cyclon war.
Battlestar Galactica Deadlock: Sin and Sacrifice is going to be the follow-up to the previous major expansion pack, Anabasis, and introduce 11 new story missions to the mix, thus expanding even further on the legendary Galactica lore.
Aside from a substantial new set of story missions focusing on the awakening of the infamous IL-series commander, Lachesis, Sin and Sacrifice will also include the Colonial fleet radio chatter voice pack, the 1,100 unique recordings of which will breathe new life into the core gameplay experience of Deadlock.
Players can also look forward to the inclusion of two new combat ships to the mix, the Colonial Heracles and the Cyclon Gorgon, as well as the all-new Crew Veterancy system. There's a new Ship Inspector tool, too, as well as the so-called Jukebox mode, with promises of lots more in tow.
If you're interested, you can check out Sin and Sacrifice on the game's official Slitherine website, though it's sure to make its way to Steam sometime in the near future as well. .

The Aegis megaship Alexandria, which vanished in hyperspace seven months ago, has been found in the Wregoe TC-X B29-0 system. I take out my Asp Explorer to research the findings and the final resting place of the ship and listen to the LOGS
A select group of independent pilots located the Alexandria following a search instigated by Professor Alba Tesreau, former head of research at Aegis. She was forced to resign as a result of the Baumann Report, which was instigated by the controversial loss of this mega-ship.
In June 3307, the Alexandria was pursued by Thargoid vessels due to a considerable number of Guardian artefacts held on board. It initiated a hyperspace jump to the HIP 30944 system to offload its cargo but never arrived. The mega-ship was assumed to have been hyperdicted by the Thargoids, resulting in the death of all four thousand crewmembers.
According to on-site witnesses, the remains of the Alexandria are currently scattered across the planetary rings of Wregoe TC-X b29-0 AB 2 A. Ships are investigating the debris, but so far have not reported finding any survivors or Guardian relics.
Chief Administrator Carter Armstrong made a public statement:
“Losing the Alexandria was as tragic as it was mysterious, but we now have an opportunity to learn what happened. Aegis should remain operational until a full analysis has been completed and we can understand the cause of the megaship’s destruction.”

Experience an epic twenty mission single-player campaign that explores the aftermath of the Devastation of Baal. Help Sergeant Carleon and his allies purge the Tyranid infestation on Baal Secundus, and preserve the honour of the noble Blood Angels.
Skirmish Mode
Fight across the surface of Baal on maps of your choosing and select either the Blood Angels or the Tyranids in the Skirmish mode. Completely customize your army list by picking your units, heroes and their loadouts.
Forge Your Armies
Command iconic units like the Sanguinary Priest, the Librarian Dreadnought, and the Hive Tyrant to annihilate your foes. Use over 60 abilities and 50 weapons to orchestrate your opponent’s bloody demise.
Build Momentum
each faction has a unique Momentum system that can result in a Surged unit. Units that Surge are able to string together superhuman chains of actions, or use the opportunity to further upgrade their abilities.
Call In Air Support
Use Command Points to call in faction-specific air support abilities. The Blood Angels Stormraven can obliterate xenos with a missile barrage, or deep strike a unit of veteran Assault Marines behind enemy lines. Meanwhile, the Tyranid Harpy can devastate the enemy defences with its Sonic Screech, or scatter the battlefield with its deadly Spore Mines.
Face Your Friends On The Battlefield
With live and asynchronous multiplayer, and hot-seat modes available, there’s no excuse not to take your friends to war.
