Metro Arrests LaBeouf after Disorderly Behavior Downtown
SAVANNAH, GA (July 8, 2017): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police officers arrested a male subject after he became disorderly in City Market in the early morning hours on July 8.
Around 4:00 a.m., Shia LaBeouf, 31, approached a bystander and an SCMPD officer near the intersection of Barnard Street and West St. Julian Street, asking for a cigarette. When LaBeouf wasn’t given a cigarette, he became disorderly, using profanities and vulgar language in front of the women and children present. He was told to leave the area and refused, becoming aggressive toward the officer.
When the officer attempted to place LaBeouf under arrest, LaBeouf ran to a nearby hotel. LaBeouf was arrested in the hotel lobby, where his disorderly behavior continued.
LaBeouf was charged with obstruction, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.

The Raleigh Police Department was aware of the video circulating on social media involving a traffic stop during the January 14 arrest of Body Cam released from Viral Raleigh Police Arrest (DOB 5/5/97).
Raleigh Police said in a statement "The officers involved were equipped with body worn cameras and their patrol vehicles captured dash camera video of the arrest. In the spirit of transparency, the Raleigh Police Department will petition Superior Court for release of the videos."
So today they released multiple body cam, dash cam and 911 calls of the incident that I have put together for you. Note that the 911 calls are after the footage this time.
On January 14, 2020 at approximately 9:30 a.m., Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a report of a hit and run in the 3500 block of Wake Forest Road. Before officers arrived on the scene the suspect vehicle fled the area and was involved in a second hit and run in a parking lot at St. Albans Drive and Wake Forest Road. While fleeing the scene of the second collision the vehicle struck a pole at 4320 Wingate Drive.
A short time later, an officer spotted a vehicle matching the description from the three earlier hit and run incidents driving erratically on Navaho Drive. The officer initiated a traffic stop and observed that the driver appeared to be impaired while transporting three passengers. When Mr. Batista-Concepcion ignored repeated commands to place his hands on the wheel, the officer ordered him to get out of the vehicle. Mr. Batista-Concepcion failed to follow the officer’s commands and officers used force to remove him from the vehicle.
Braily Andres Batista-Concepcion was subsequently charged with DWI, three counts of Hit and Run, two counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Simple Possession of Marijuana, and Resist, Delay and Obstruct. As is the case with all uses of force, the Raleigh Police Department is reviewing this matter. If anyone has additional information about this incident or witnessed any other hit and runs involving this vehicle, they are encouraged to call 911."

The Pasco Police Department release body camera and dash cam footage of an officer involved shooting that occurred on Road 68 and Interstate 182, on July 7, 2020
On July 30, 2020 at about 3:05 pm Pasco Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, and had information that Santiago Ayala-Pineda maybe in the vehicle. 33-year-old Santiago Ayala-Pineda aka "Gumby" had an active Felony warrant out of the Kennewick Police Department for Assault in the first degree with a weapon.
Kennewick Police Department Statement made on July 27, 2020:
On July 19, 2020, officers responded to the 300 block of N. Ely St for the report of a shooting that had just occurred. Upon their arrival officers learned that both the victim and suspect had fled the scene. Officers later found that a 38-year-old male had driven himself to an area hospital with a non-life threatening gun shot wound. Our criminal investigations division responded to the scene and began their investigation into identifying the suspect. Based on their investigation 33-year-old Santiago Ayala-Pineda was identified as the suspect. Ayala-Pineda currently has an active felony warrant for 1st Degree Assault stemming from this incident.
Pasco Police Department Officers observed Santiago Ayala-Pineda hiding in the vehicle during the stop. Officers gave orders to Santiago Ayala-Pineda however, he did not comply. Santiago Ayala-Pineda armed himself with a handgun and refused to drop it.
Detective Andy Corral fired his department issued handgun, striking Santiago Ayala-Pineda.
Aid was rendered to Ayala-Pineda on scene by officers, and by Pasco Fire personnel. Santiago Ayala-Pineda was transported by Pasco Fire Department to a local area hospital where he has been admitted for treatment.
Detective Andy Corral has been with the Pasco Police Department for 13 years and is assigned to the Street Crimes Unit as a K9 handler.
Pasco Police Chief Ken Roske requested the activation of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) to assume the investigation of the officer involved shooting. SIU investigators responded to the scene, and immediately assumed command and control of this investigation, relieving all Pasco PD officers of any involvement.
As part of the newly adopted WAC 139-12, Chief Roske requested the assistance of two (2) non-law enforcement community representatives. SIU investigators met with these individuals Thursday evening at Pasco PD. The community members also visited the scene.

WESTWOOD, Ohio --- On August 9 Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announced that no charges will be filed against the officers in the July 31st officer- involved shooting on Geyer Woods Lane in Westwood.
On July 31st at approximately 10:30 a.m. Robert Schneider 46 (DOB 10/21/72) robbed the Marathon Station located at 6050 Cheviot Road at gunpoint. A car chase ensued with numerous police agencies, including the Hamilton County Sheriff’s department helicopter, attempting to stop Schneider’s vehicle. Schneider eventually stopped his car and fled from the police on foot.
Schneider ran through a residential neighborhood brandishing a handgun and pointing it directly at police officers. He tried unsuccessfully to enter a residence. He then ran across the street and tried to gain entrance, again unsuccessfully, to another home located at the end of Geyer Woods Lane. The female homeowner struggled with Schneider at the door but was able to keep her door closed and prevent him from gaining entry.
P.O. Timothy Bittner, Cheviot Police Department, ordered him to drop his gun. Schneider refused his commands and Office Bittner fired one shot at the suspect.
P.O. Barbara Aylward, Green Township Police Department, joined the pursuit as Schneider was attempting to gain entrance to the second residence. Aylward fired three shots and Bittner fired one additional shot for a total of five shots fired at Schneider.
Schneider was struck in the head and torso. Schneider’s gun was still in his hand when the officers approached him after he had been shot.
Schneider was transported to University Hospital where he stayed until he died early this morning.(August 9)

On December 27 at 6 p.m., an officer from the Lufkin Police Department responded to a report at Great Oaks Apartments (3205 Old Union Road) concerning two males who were reportedly kicking an apartment door. The caller informed dispatch that this incident occurred about five minutes prior and they were unsure of the suspects' direction. Dispatch assured the caller that an officer would be dispatched to the apartment.
Shortly afterward, a uniformed patrol officer arrived at the complex and commenced scanning the area for the suspects while heading towards the caller's apartment. Upon ringing the doorbell, the officer stepped back, still surveying the surroundings for the suspects.
Within moments of the door opening, a woman armed with a handgun emerged, shouting, and using profanity while advancing towards the officer with the gun aimed. The officer, retreating, discharged four shots in response. The armed woman was struck by the gunfire and collapsed. The officer promptly notified dispatch of the shooting. Upon securing the firearm, the officer provided immediate aid to the woman, administering CPR until paramedics arrived. Unfortunately, the woman was pronounced deceased at a local hospital shortly afterward.
The woman, who was armed and identified as the initial caller, will have her identity released at a later time, as stated by the Lufkin Police chief.

The Tulsa Police Department released body cameras of an officer involved shooting hostage situation that happened back in December 2023.
Police says that on December 23, 2023 at approximately 10:30 PM, Tulsa Police responded to a domestic disturbance near 31 street and Mingo in Tulsa, Oklahoma involving a 29-year-old female suspect Taylor Torres who brandished and fired a firearm while taking hostages inside a residence.
Upon arrival, Officers established a perimeter and attempted to negotiate with Torres. Torres made threats of suicide and harm to others, including the hostages inside the residence police said.
Due to the imminent danger to the hostages, Officers entered the residence.
Once inside the residence, officers could hear an infant crying. The officers determined Torres and the hostages were in the bedroom. After officers breached the bedroom door they determined Torres was in the closet while the 4 hostages, including a one years old and a 7 years old, were next to a bed within the shooting range of Torres.
During the encounter, Torres began a countdown as if preparing to shoot prompting an officer with a shield to placed himself between Torres and the hostages to discharge their weapon. At the exact same time, Torres shot herself in the head, according to police.
The hostages were evacuated from the room and officers attempted to render aid but Taylor Torres was already dead.
No hostages or Officers were injured.
All of the evidence in the case was submitted to the Tulsa County District Attorney's Office. After reviewing the facts of the incident, the District Attorney's Office ruled the shooting by the Officer to be justified.

Two Rivers is a city in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin ---
The Two Rivers police department released a body cam from an officer involved in a deadly shooting of Nash W. Fiske 30 years old (passenger) on Washington Street last November 04-2019 during a traffic stop, by Police Officer Dakota Gamez.
This investigation has been turned over to the Wisconsin Department of Justice's (WIDOJ) .
The Manitowoc County District Attorney has determined a Two Rivers police officer was justified in his use of deadly force during a Nov. 4 traffic stop.
William Tyler Langrick, 31, (driver) is charged with
possession of a firearm by a felon as a repeat offender,
felony possession of THC as a second or subsequent offense, felony possession of THC with intent to deliver as a second
or subsequent offense, and
possession of drug paraphernalia as a repeat offender.
NBC26 Staff report that "William Langrick, the driver involved, is facing criminal firearm and drug charges related to the traffic stop that preceded the shooting.
The criminal complaint doesn't mention the shooting, but it said during the traffic stop Officer Gamez noticed the smell of marijuana. The complaint said Langrick was questioned about the odor.
A search of the vehicle revealed a bag with four glass jars containing raw marijuana inside, as well as plastic sandwich bag of marijuana in the glove compartment, the criminal complaint said.
Langrick admitted to knowing there were two handguns inside the vehicle, according to the criminal complaint, which also said Langrick gave a handgun to Fiske while at a gas station shortly before the traffic stop."

The Phoenix Police Department has released body camera and 911 call, related to an officer-involved shooting which occurred on February 13, 2024.
This incident unfolded following an emergency call reporting an unknown disturbance at an apartment near 19th Avenue and Berridge Lane. The caller reported a man was holding her mother at gunpoint and forced her back into their apartment into their residence.
Upon arrival, officers swiftly surrounded the apartment. Peering through windows, they witnessed the assailant physically assaulting the victim in a bedroom. Officers issued commands for all occupants to exit the premises. However, the suspect responded by brandishing a firearm from a window, firing shots at officers positioned at the rear of the residence. In response to the imminent threat, one of the officers returned fire.
Hearing the gunfire, officers stationed at the front of the apartment swiftly moved to the opposite side. It was here that another officer discharged their duty weapon, successfully incapacitating the fleeing suspect.
Following the exchange, the wounded suspect, identified as 35-year-old Edward Brown, received medical treatment for his non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital. Concurrently, the female victim involved in the initial violent altercation was also attended to for her injuries.
Brown was discharged from the hospital two days post-incident and subsequently booked into Maricopa County Jail by Phoenix police, facing multiple felony charges stemming from the shooting. Law enforcement recovered the firearm used by Brown during the confrontation.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released body camera, surveillance video, pictures and details of an officer involved in a fatal shooting of a shooting suspect that occurred on October 27-2020.
LVMPD Assistant Sheriff Chris Jones provides details to members of the media regarding Officer Involved Shooting #17 for 2020, where officers investigating a shooting found the suspect of the shooting inside a business working as a clerk. The suspect complied initially, then turned on officers and reached for a handgun in his waistband.

LONG BEACH POLICE DEPARTMENT, CA ---
OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING INVESTIGATION – 1700 BLOCK OF EAST ARTESIA BOULEVARD
On Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at approximately 12:20 a.m., a patrol officer was waived down and told there was a shooting inside of a business in the 1700 block of East Artesia Boulevard. As the officer approached the business, he heard additional shots being fired. The officer could see into the business, saw the suspect with a gun and an officer involved shooting occurred.
Immediately following the shooting, the Communication Center received a 9-1-1 call from a patron inside the business indicating there was a shooting inside and there were other patrons locked in a storeroom. The initial officer lost sight of the suspect and although it was believed the suspect was still inside, his exact location was unknown. On duty S.W.A.T. officers responded to the scene to locate the suspect and rescue the patrons from the storeroom. Once inside, S.W.A.T. officers located the male adult suspect on the ground, non-responsive and still holding the firearm. The Long Beach Fire Department arrived and determined the suspect deceased at the scene.
Based on the preliminary investigation, the suspect 48-year-old Delfon Kinney Sr was inside the business when he confronted and shot a male adult working inside the business. Although the victim later identified as 44-year-old Manuel Marquez was shot in the upper torso, he was able to run out of the business. He was later taken to a local hospital by the Long Beach Fire Department with non-life-threatening injuries. After this initial shooting with the employee, there is evidence that the suspect exchanged gunfire with an unknown patron of the business. The suspect then moved to another portion of the business where he shot and killed an adult male victim before being confronted by the officer.
No officers were injured in this incident and several patrons reported minor injuries they sustained while fleeing the business.
Homicide Detectives responded to the scene for the investigation. The motive behind the initial shooting is unknown at this time. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office will be conducting a separate investigation of the incident as they do with all officer involved shootings. The decedents will be identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, who will also notify the next of kin.
The Department believes that the individuals who reported the incident and the quick actions of the officers involved prevented additional casualties during this incident.
