Philosophy In Software Development Degrees?
Philosophy could be defined as the study of general and fundamental problems concerning matters such as existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language.
But... What does it have to do with programming?
Well, as you all know, Simple Programmer is much more than just programming and I could go further and say that this channel is all about philosophy.
So... How does philosophy relate to software development and should it be taught in college? Why should we even bother about it?
Watch this video and find out!

Coding Is Not The Same As Programming
Have you ever heard that coding and programming are not the same thing? But, how can that be possible?
Well, in this video I came across a very interesting text, which I've decided to share with you. in this text, the author stated that programming/software development is not the same as coding.
And well, if you know me, whenever I find something interesting, I create a video to share with you guys... And this is exactly what I did in this video.
For a lot of software developers, coding and programming is the fucking same thing. if you do a simple search on the internet, you'll find the below definition for both terms:
Coding
"Digital Technology.
a set of symbols that can be interpreted by a computer or piece of software: binary code; Java code;
the symbolic arrangement of statements or instructions in a computer program, or the set of instructions in such a program:"
Programming
"the act or job of creating computer programs"
However, they are not the same thing.
So, do you wanna know more about why coding is not the same as programming? Watch this video and find out!

The Secret Of Life - Trusting The Process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0thiApKUM0
Don't Focus On Results
How many times have you felt frustrated when you did not get the things you wanted? Have you ever wondered why this might be happening to you? Maybe, this is because you're focusing on results.
We all focus on results sometimes in our lives. And I couldn't blame you for that. It's hard to keep working hard and not seeing any results. We all want to get the results from what we worked for so hard and for a lot of time. But, it can't be frustrated, I know.
Instead of asking "How do I do this?" or "How can I do this?" you find yourself anxiously thinking "Can I do this?" and "What if I fail?". The joy of learning ceases to exist. In my experience, learning can be a tremendous source of fulfilment and joy. But to experience, this takes valuing the process over the end result and not comparing yourself to others.
At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is the hard work you've done. So, if you're suffering solely from focusing on results, watch this video and find out!

12 More Books Every Programmer Should Read
A while ago I made a video with a Top 10 Books Every Software Developer should read in 2016. A lot of people watched it, liked and they wanted more. As you probably know, I always say that software developers must know and learn much more things than just writing code. Software Developers must be able to market themselves, become better people and become aware of themselves.
Due to that, I decide to create another powerful list with 12 more books every software developer should read. Among the list, are a lot of financial, personal development and philosophy books.

Getting A Programming Job: No One Cares What You Want!
How do most software developers search for a job? Do you know?
Over my career, I've seen a lot of job searching processes, especially among software developers. And I must that 90% of them sucked!
All software developers do the exact same thing: They beg for a job. They presume that it is who is employing that should give him anything he wants.
And life does not work like that honey...
In this video, I'll explain why your job searching process might be failing and what you can do about it.

So, a lot of developers face this awful situation from time to time.
Picture this: You're new at a company. This company has an extensive history of software development and a lot of developers have already worked there.
You're assigned to a new project that has already started. Your job is to pick where the latest developer have left the project, which means you'll have to read and understand his code.
This should be a problem, right? Yeah, it can.
How do you understand someone else's code? How do you read and know exactly what each part is saying on this code? Is there an easy way to do that?
Watch this video and find out!
