The plane was flying from Montreal to Ottawa, and then from Ottawa to Edmonton. The pilot and engineers ensured that fuel was enough for the flight journey. They thought of filling enough fuel for the flight. But they forgot the fuel the tank enough for the flight. Actually this time Canada was shifting from Imperial System to the metric system, which meant that the Count of Fuel of the plane was to be in kilogram, and they did so, but they did the count the fuel in pounds, which was their biggest mistake.
