How To Land And Launch From Eve In Kerbal Space Program
Eve is the hardest planet to land and return from in Kerbal Space Program. It's gravity is higher than Kerbin's and it has a thick atmosphere that slows you down. Landing is easy, it's the launch that is hard.
From Reddit - another challenge.
"When the scavenging crews rocket part contract giver where looking around the junkyard a high tech facility they found an orange tank that was open for use. In a space program facing recent cuts (something about spreading nuclear radiation all over the solar system) this is a rare find. You must use it to do science!
The Challenge: Get a rocket to the Mun and back (flyby only) using only one orange tank as fuel. No other fuel or RCS is allowed. You must land safely back at Kerbin. You must also bring a full scientific kit: Thermometer, gravioli measurer, barometer, and accelerometer."
In the end I went above and beyond, landing on Duna and Ike before returning home

Sean investigates the strange geometry of a relic on Duna. The next generation antimatter recovery plane takes flight using fusion power and finally we have a high-tech drive that's able to generate the Thrust-to-weight ratio required for vertical take off.

Tobii (http://tobiigaming.com/) were kind enough to send me one of their new eyetracking peripherals, these let you control the camera in games like Elite: Dangerous (and more) just by looking around the screen. It's an alternative to TrackIR which has the advantage of not requiring you to wear tracking hardware on your head.
This model is the Eyetrack 4C, unlike earlier models it's moved much of the tracking processing into the hardware and has reduced the connection requirements to USB 2

Disclosure: these guys sent me this for free, other than that they didn't pay me money for this video.

This is the penultimate mission in the game, and the last large engagement with the good guys finally getting the upper hand, leading the hostile forces into a trap so that we can get a crack at the relic before it destroys Earth.

While I've already demonstrated that a big enough rocket can stop negate enough orbital velocity to dive into the sun that is not the most efficient way to make these kid of descents. Using a rocket half the size I demonstrate a bielptic sundive mission that takes the kosmonauts close enough to the star to break the physics engine.
