On the first day of 2022, snow and hail fell on the Egyptian resort of Hurghada. Bad weather caused a lot of trouble for both locals and tourists. On the first day of the new year, the streets of Hurghada are covered with snow, accompanied by heavy rain that lasted for several hours. In addition to rain and snow, the resort was hit by hail, the size of a pigeon's egg. As the roads are still blocked, many people are trapped by inclement weather. Due to fresh snow, some expressways are prohibited in the area. At least 80 passengers were trapped in the area.
