Commonly underutilized, the plate hammer curl is one of the best exercises to help improve your arms. Easy and accessible, it can be performed at the beginning of a session, to warm up and pre-exhaust, or at the end to finish the workout by dragging additional blood.
Even though using some body language according to your muscle insertions might be reasonable, implementing these simple adjustments can aid substantially in getting the most out of it through maximum isolation.
(1) Keep your humorous bones (maximally) stationary by avoiding swinging and creating an 'L' shape as you curl the weight.
(2) Maintain your elbows tucked to your waist to (also) hit the inner portions of your bice. If it's available and you find it helps, you can use an arm blaster to facilitate that.
