Was the Secretariat the Fastest Horse Ever? (Belmont Stakes 1973)
Secretariat was fast enough to win the triple crown at record speed in each race. He could run off the pace or go wire to wire. And he could also win on any surface and any distance. His versatility and speed are why many racing fans consider him the greatest racehorse of all-time. Secretariat’s average speed in Triple Crown races was 37.7 mph, fast enough to set a new record in each race. His accomplishments in these prestigious races still have not been matched. During his racing career, he won five Eclipse Awards, including Horse of the Year honors at ages two and three. He was nominated to the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1974. In the List of the Top 100 U.S. Racehorses of the 20th Century, Secretariat is second only to Man o' War (racing career 1919–1920), who also was a large chestnut colt given the nickname "Big Red".

What Does It Mean Hot, Cold or Warm blooded Horse ?
Horses are mammals so they are all warm-blooded creatures, however the equine community has developed the terms hot, cold, and warm blooded to mean something completely different.

Making its European debut at the 2016 Geneva motor show, TOYOTA KIKAI has been designed to explore, reinforce and, above all, celebrate the fundamental appeal of machines: their intricacy, mechanical complexity and, of course, beauty in motion. As a true concept car, TOYOTA KIKAI’s appeal is in a design which is simultaneously reliant on, and yet free from, the core concepts of the modern automobile.

After a reign of 28 months and despite two Grand Prix successes in May, Steve Guerdat is giving up his place as the World No. 1 to Daniel Deusser. The German rider from the Stephex stables had a great start to the year, but the system for calculating the world rankings has just been changed. The FEI and the IJRC have decided that the break due to the health crisis is almost over. As a result, the ranking system’s calculation period has shortened by three months and it will continue to shorten little by little to return to the traditional system of 12 months.
Daniel Deusser takes over this World No. 1 place for the third time in his career after interrupting Scott Brash's 16-month reign in 2015 and succeeding his compatriot Christian Ahlmann in 2017.
Steve Guerdat moves down to second place, while his compatriot Martin Fuchs, remains in third place. Ben Maher moves up to fourth place, ahead of Kent Farrington and Scott Brash.
Peder Fredricson loses three places and finds himself in seventh place ahead of Darragh Kenny who gained two, and Mclain Ward who has re-entered the Top 10. Marlon Zanotelli has gained three places and also enters the Top 10! Beezie Madden remains the first woman in the rankings, but leaves the Top 10 to now sit in eleventh place.

As the only federally-owned stud in Austria, the Lipizzan stud is dedicated to breeding the Lipizzaner stallions that perform in the world famous Spanish Riding School in Vienna.
Already around 1100, Piber was mentioned for the first time and until 1786 the Piber estate was a domain of the venerable St. Lambrecht Benedictine Abbey in upper Styria. It was the St. Lambrecht abbots who build the splendid early Baroque Piber Castle with its beautiful arcaded courtyard.
In 1786 by decree of Emperor Joseph II, St, Lambrecht Abbey was secularized, so the Piber domain, along with the castle, then became the property of the crown. Twelve years later, in 1798, its present function as a state stude began. So for over 200 years horses have been very successfully bred here.
In 1920, the very valuable Lipizzan herd of the old imperial court stud, which had remained in Austria after thecollapse of the Habsburg Monarchy, was transferred to Piber. The breeding of Lippizans in Piber builds on the tradition of the former imperial farm stud in Lipica, Slovenia, and continues to pursue the original goal - to breed the very best Lipizzaner stallions, which then are sent to Vienna to be trained at the Spanish Riding School.
