When you're in Krabi Thailand you need to see these 3 mind blowing sites! We hit the road for an amazing day trip catching these three must see sites: Emerald Pool, Hot Springs and Tiger Cave temple. The first stop emerald pool is a natural wonder of stunning green (emerald) pool in the middle of the jungle. With warm bath like water and a mini waterfall to stand under we had never seen anything like it. Just 15 minutes down the road in the same national park was a natural hot springs with tiered water pools like mini hot tubs in the middle of the jungle. It is said that these pools have healing properties but they sure were relaxing. Last stop was Tiger Cave temple with a 1237 step terrifying climb to the top of the mountain. The Tiger cave at the bottom is still used by monks who meditate and practice blessing ceremonies to willing participants. It is said that this cave housed tigers many years ago and has tiger paw print imprints in the cave. It was stunning! We were debating whether to take the climb up steep treacherous stairs to the top as there was a looming thunder storm and the climb is dangerous enough on its own without a storm. Needless to say we climbed up, got caught in the storm and took shelter under a tin roof (in a lightning storm). After making it safely down we were so glad we decided to do the climb.
