I’m a person who isn’t easily offended and I enjoy dark satirical humor, but there is a difference between an offensive joke and threatening someone’s life. Boosie Badazz is so homophobic and so full of hatred that he is encouraging Lil Nas X to take his life. Boosie’s tweets aren’t funny, and very disturbing because many of his fans agree with his hateful rhetoric. In communities of color, LGBTQ members are targeted at a much higher rate and face extreme prejudice that can lead to physical violence.
