Today on motor test Tuesday, we find out why the LRP Dynamic 10L motor kills ESC's.
I made this video after i ran the Tekno SCT410.3 the other week and the battery, which is an extremely high end Intellect 10,000mah LIHV, was getting to 60c after a full run. Its now clear why this was the case.
The Tekin RX8 i am using here is one of the few esc's that will handle this motor.

The Mini MGT has arrived. This is my next project, i thought i'd start this year off with this truck as it quite and interesting truck. This one came up on ebay shortly after i filmed the video looking at it.

hobao-hyper-mt-nitro-gets-new-exhaust
In this video i finally managed to get some kind of tuning done with the Hobao Hyper MT Nitro. I have changed out the exhaust gasket as well as the clutch.
I went for the Reds Racing V3 Tetra Clutch with 4 aluminium clutch shoes. Its the 32mm aluminium flywheel version. This has made the truck much more responsive at the lower rpm range and it seems to accelerate much faster.
At the end of the last tank the engine had reached 101c/213f with the body on.
