Why Science Needs God and Needs Scientists to Have Faith in God
"Science" is a term that some have used as a club against religion. The truth is not in these attacks. Rather, modern science is another gift to the world from the blessings of a culture immersed in a Christian view of the world. Further, when the population loses that view, they soon drift to a view of the world incompatible with true science, as is happening now. In addition, science cannot maintain itself in integrity absent a minimal amount of idealistic faith amongst members of the science community. The case for Infant Baptism starts with a examination of what Batism is supposed to be. Part of the divide between Evangelicals and more tranditional Christian believers on this issue comes from different ideas about baptism. Not only does this apply to infant baptism, but also the reaction to adults with a lot of negative spiritual baggage like Russell Brand getting baptized. This issues are explored as an entry point in examining New Testament scriptures which extend to this issue.

Accurate labels are important to help people make distinctions and stop talking past one another. When it comes to creationist schools of thought though, we see to have hard time sorting through labels. Some of this is that the side that wants Christians to accept a naturalistic view of bio-origins use overly broad terms as a rhetorical tactic. Here Mark offers suggestions for proper labeling of seven creationist schools of thought.

The so-called "Seven Noahide Laws" are not what they are advertised to be. In Genesis, God did make a covenant with Noah, but it wasn't for Noah to keep those laws. Instead, God used the flood to point to His most important covenant- the one found today exclusively in the Christian faith.

What is "Christian Nationalism"? It depends on whether you are talking about what many people in America today are calling "Christian Nationalism" or if you are talking about what scripture says about the subject. There is a scriptural and an unscriptural way to look at the subject, and this video explains the difference.
The rest of this channel is focused on subjects related to early Genesis but Christians and government is a subject I know something about. Here is a link to the book page of my political autobiography. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08VRF7G63

Atheists are bombarding social media with memes attacking either the character or existence of God using different iterations of the same argument- an argument from the existence of evil. This video is designed to be something that Christians can share on social media in response to those attacks. They are saying the same thing over and over again in slightly different ways, so they should get the same answer over and over again until they address the response- which I have found they flee serious intellectual engagement in favor of flitting from one accusation to another.

Answers suitable for cutting and pasting on social media: On Human Evil
When atheists complain of the problem of human evil, using many specific examples, they do not mean that God should stop them from doing things that He considers evil. They mean that God should stop others from doing the things that they consider evil. Were God to inhibit their actions, they would be among the first to shake their fist at Him and declare Him a tyrant, and even unjust since they often would not consider their deeds as evil.
And so whatever happens, they mock God. If He does not intervene, they mock Him by denying His existence and saying He should have intervened. If He did intervene, they would mock Him as a tyrant and unjust in His choices. We can know this is true because they do this even now when He mildly intervenes through His church which proclaims His standards for human conduct. Even that is too much for them and they revile Him and His people as an unjust tyrant all the same. They set the problem up in their heads so that no matter what happens, God is to be mocked. Not because of who He is, but it is because of who and what they are.
Their real problem isn't with the existence of God, it is that they are not Him.
On Natural Evil:
When atheists complain of the problem of natural evil, using many specific examples, they mean that God should have made a universe where man can do whatever He pleases, and be as hurtful, sinful, and destructive as he wishes, while the nature he exists in behaves itself perfectly. There is no reason why God should do that of course- if man wishes to be unruly then it is only fitting that he exists within a natural realm that is unruly as well. He should get from nature that which he puts into it.
The original commission of man in Genesis chapter one was to dominate and subdue an unruly natural world- to make it better in the process of getting better himself in communion with God. In spite of our rebellion, we have made some progress in this, but without our rebellion I suspect we'd have completed the job some time ago. The energy and resources that could have been spent curing childhood leukemia and predicting earthquakes was squandered on war, crime, intoxication, and illicit expressions of sexuality. That an atheist would blame God for these things should remind us that narcissists never take responsibility for their actions and always seek to deflect blame on others.

It is common for people, including scholars, to believe that the book of Genesis contains two creation accounts. It does not. This video explains the relationship between the account in chapter one and that in chapter two- along with the verses in Genesis 2:4-6 which connect the two.

What you may not know about MRCA calculations and how it impacts ideas about human origins.
Here is the study showing that different Y haplogroups have differing mutation rates, with the ones we think are the oldest having the highest mutation rate. This means we have over estimated their age. https://academic.oup.com/mbe/article/38/3/1000/5922624?login=false
Here is where I deconstruct YEC Nathaniel Jeanson's paper on Y-haplogroups claiming evidence for a very recent MRCA date.. https://earlygenesistherevealedcosmology.blogspot.com/2022/01/deconstructing-jeansons-study-on-y.html

NOTE on last half: while a single back-mutation on M42 would turn a "B" Y-hap into an "A" Y-hap, it would take at least two in order to get to A00 since P305 is the marker for the A0 from A00 stream. However, this need not occur at once. Some population which had a back-mutation on M42 could have a member which later had a back-mutation on P305, which means the stream is flowing backwards from the current belief. I will include a link here that I did not mention in the video because it shows these markers in an example stream. NOTE that this link has the BT-B origin time as 80,000 years ago, not 101,000 years ago. I used the older date in my video but the experts somewhat disagree on the age of origin for Y-hap B. If it is the younger date, then correcting for the new study I talk about in the video the origin for B would not be 101KYA / 1.5 = 67KYA but 80 KYA / 1.5 = 53 KYA with the mid-point of the two estimates 60 KYA. ...

Genesis says that God commanded Noah to build the ark out of "Gopher Wood". But what is gopher wood? No one seems to understand- until now! The solution to the mystery also shows how even the paradoxes in the text are really pointing to the work and person of Christ. No matter how perplexing the text seems, it all fits together when viewed through the lens of Christ. Of course, this could not be so unless He really was who scripture says that He is, and those scriptures are inspired by God. We may not get to keep all of our pre-existing ideas about what the narrative is saying but the narrative is true, and points to Christ in a way that is truly glorious.
