This is honestly my FIRST Mirage 2000 PVP session and I was truly amazed at the performance of the DCS Mirage 2000. This delta wing dealer of death is a favorite having flown in its predecessor the Mirage IIIO in the RAAF on a Joy flight as a maintainer!

X Plane 11 has some amazing free aircraft so I thought the Aerolite 103 ultralight was really worth a flight. This flight came with quite a surprise for an ultralight aircraft. Its slow speed stall was pretty exciting to say the least.
We go for a short flight to check out takeoff, landing and general handling of this fun aircraft. The landings were pretty easy to make but the STALL characteristics of this free included ultralight aircraft were a real surprise.

This dogfight video has me in the F 15 facing the F 16 Viper NEW AI in Veteran mode. Its an awesome fight and takes some patience to win. The Viper loves its two circle battles in BFM and a dogfight like this takes time to win. If your a real pilot like myself or just a sim pilot then great scenery makes the experience so much better and always remember you can make your own with Overlay Editor or WED and have your own local airports looking great as well as Ortho4xp and have fantastic Photo scenery.

The fantastic thing about X Plane 11 is how easy it is to download an airport and scenery and install it. It takes only a few minutes for the whole process!
Lets Download Portland International KPDY by Mister X and install it as well as its libraries if it need any.
1 - Find and Download the Airport
2 - Download and needed Libraries
3 - Unzip Downloaded Files
4 - Copy extracted files and install into:
C:\X-Plane11\Custom Scenery
5 - Start X Plane 11
6 - At Main Menu EXIT X-Plane 11
( X Plane 11 has now found your new scenery and libraries)
7 - Navigate to C:\X-plane 11\Custom Scenery
8 - Find Scenery_packs file - OPEN in NOTEPAD
9 - Airports entries and new files WILL be at the top!
a/ Leave any AIRPORT files at the top!
b/ CUT any ORTHO scenery files and place them above the MESH
at the bottom of the files and with the other ORTHO files!
c/ Cut any Librariy file entries and place them below the Airports
and above the ORTHO files.
FINISHED - SAVE THE CHANGES - START X PLANE 11 and FLY with your new scenery!
ENJOY!

X Plane 11 has many challenges and a x plane 11 extreme flying challenge taking on a space shuttle landing is one of the hardest. Fly from in space for a full re entry of chose final entry as well as just final landing. You will need you best gliding skills to complete this challenge.
I have reverted to 11.36 as the X Plane 11.40 was unflyable and It just went rouge at the same point on re entry every time.
The X Plane 11 space shuttle is pretty basic and not many switches work. There are energy management displays and navigation ones that really were very hard t understand. It took quite a few shots to make it close to landing so join me a=on this attempt and see how I do.
