It's Day 4 of the Flats & Handwashing Challenge!: "What Is Your Wash Routine?" I feel really good about my wash routine this year, the previous years doing the Challenge really helped me this year. It's amazing what a difference a little experience makes! I can't imagine how adept I'd become after months and months of Handwashing!! This year I had a much better idea of how much detergent to use, in previous years I've used wayyy too much detergent, necessitating so. much. rinsing. I also had a much better understanding of how much plunging is really necessary and how much rinsing. Hello and Welcome to the 2018 Flats and Handwashing Challenge videos!! Yesterday was the final day, day #7- The Vlog topic is: What Did I Learn? How'd It go?? I couldn't get the video edited and uploaded yesterday, I apologize. ?     I participated in the annual Flats and Handwashing Challenge hosted by Cloth Diaper Revival. This event was created 8 years ago by a cloth diapering Mama to raise awareness for cloth diapering and to show that cloth diapering is acheivable and attainable for all families, including families on a tight budget or those without a washer or dryer!!    For one week, families around the country (and world!) will be only using cloth diaper Flats and waterproof cloth diaper covers AND will only be handwashing and line drying them!  Flat cloth diapers are the most inexpensive, versatile, easy to clean and fastest drying cloth diapers on the market!  They were the original cloth diaper and there's a reason they still make them,  because they work!!
