Thessa, War Oracle of the Late Era Astrian Republic. Born into the Celestial Order, she, along with all female Illumine, endured the Trials of the Gods. Using her premonition and power to hunt monsters from both the Mortal realm and the horrors that lurk beyond the veil and into the Ethereal. Thessa's power saw her rise to prominence during the Barbarian Invasions from Gol Ethryn. She joined forces with a rag-tag band of warriors led by General Illos, fighting a guerilla campaign to break the siege of Helios, the Capital of the Republic. With her aid, entire warbands felt the wrath of the King of the Gods of Titanous Airestos, cleansing the heretical Barbarians and turning their powerful sorcerer into smoldering embers. The counter-offensive was brutal and swift. The Gol Ethryn retreated back across the river of Ossos, fleeing west. Illos and Thessa followed them to their capital, their they avenged the people of Astria. Thessa set the city ablaze. The walls of the city of Eraldor would prove to be the tomb of the enemies of Astria. Thessa among the blazing buildings danced, her deadly beauty kissed by the fires of war, her eyes illuminated with the power of the gods.
