There is more to wellness than just fixation on our physical being. We practice "mindful" wellness that promotes harmony between body, Qi and mind. Our weekly "Gym for the Mind" combines Yoga-like exercises, Qi therapy, abdominal breathing, sitting/standing meditation and Bodhidharma's Yi Jin Jing.

Mindful Qi Therapy prevents premature aging by restoring harmony between Body, Qi and Mind. Our weekly Boot Camp include Joint Exercise, Qi Massage, Stretching, Mindfulness Meditation, Abdominal Breathing and Bodhidharma's Yi Jin Jing QiGong exercise, all of which are to cultivate "Mindful Aging" by improving lung-heart efficiency, muscle agility and mental acuity.

Those of us who are (wheel)chair-bound are now the fastest growing minority. Their determination to overcome physical limitation is an inspiration for all. Our weekly one-hour Saturday evening class will be practiced exclusively from a sitting position, allowing all of us to strengthen our body, harness our Qi and unleash our mind.

Venerable De Hong, a Buddhist monk since 2006, was born in Vietnam and came to USA as a refuge in 1981. He has earned a BS and MS in engineering, a MBA, and a Master and Ph.D in Buddhist Psychology. Since 2013, he has been teaching mindfulness and loving-kindness meditation in California prisons.
