I was not happy with the quality so I figured I would try messing with the settings. before I was using Sony XAVC S HD 1080 Long-GOP. Which the file was 3.77GB. i can turn up the bit rate a lot more to probably equal that size with the below settings.
Playing around with Sony Vegas 13 rendering settings.
MainConcept AVC/AAC (*.mp4,*.avc)
Allow source to adjust frame size
Allow source to adjust frame rate
Variable bit rate
Two-Pass
Maximum (bps): 20,000,000
Average (bps): 14,000,000
Render using OpenCL if available (I do have this)
File size is 1.03GB
My beef is no one gives you a good, use these settings with Sony Vegas if posting to Youtube. Most recommended settings come from gamers, I want GoPro, SENA and other action camera specific settings. I once tried messing with settings Youtube messed the video up pretty bad. So here is to trying...I had pretty good settings worked out but had to reload my PC and did not jot them down the one program I forgot to look at.
Verdict: This one is even more blocky after Youtube Upload. Looks great on desktop but Youtube F's it up.
