We parked at Providence Access to the Katy Trail and only had a 1.5 hike to the Eagle Bluffs Overlook Trailhead. In fact it has taken us 3 attempts to get as far as we did BUT we also found out we didn't go far enough!!!! While we did find the actual trail and hiked up we missed the actual overlook which was just over the ridge but we knew were fighting daylight as well as exhausted kids so Part 2 coming your way soon. And we have discovered that there is a shorter route! If you are to go the way we did in this video we would highly recommend taking bikes for the Katy Trail.
