I made 2 more gallons of cider. One is white sugar and the other is brown sugar. They both are using Premium Cuvee as the yeast. It says it works down to 45 degrees so we will see how well it works for me since I am using around 60 degrees. Though tonight it was 64 degree so I will have to wait and see how warm it will be this summer. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJcqi3-bwHA

I found that my bucket was not bubbling. I pressed on the bucket and it started bubbling away. I had to clean the bubbler to make sure that the bucket did not explode.
I was also able to rack the for gallons of cider that I started in April. I found it interesting to see the difference in the level of the bottles after racking.

Today I got my new incubator going. I have 28 eggs in there(I put another two in right after I shot the video).
I show off my current flock which I will be making another video about tomorrow to explain what has happened since just before Christmas.
I hope to be able to upload more videos during this new phase of raising quail.

I had not realized that I did not recorded a log in a few days.
I lost of of the ones that was not walking well on Monday. I still have on that is not walking well but it is up on it feet and moves around the cage. I am waiting to see what happens with it. I still have 11 of the original 16.
They are eating out of the front food tray. A few can still get into the food tray, but other now are to big and can just reach in and eat now. I am hoping some of the large one are female so that I can keep them as egg layers.
I think the most of my older Pharaoh girls are in molt again. They have slowed way down on laying eggs and are starting to really loss feathers. I think this is part of the problem with the running around the cage away from the male. I am going to try and move the boy out tonight and move blue back in with the other girls and see how they do.
I have noticed that my speckled boy is starting to molt. The girls have not slowed down in egg laying and have not lost much feather yet. I am hoping that they will wait to molt until my Pharaohs are laying again.
Blue has been doing a lot better being my herself and has even starting growing back in some of her feathers.
I feel sorry for black but at this point it is just counting down the weeks until the cull.

These are my attempt at making a ginger cider. I have had a few ginger ciders that I really liked so now to see if I can make one. I used my default Member Mark Apple Juice. Took out two cups of juice and put it into another container. Took out another cup of cider and added 1 cup of raw honey. I then out the juice and honey in the microwave fore a beverage 1.
While the juice was in the microwave I put 3 oz of diced up ginger into the bottle. I them added 1 tsp of yeast nutrient and a 1/2 tsp of pectin enzyme. Once the juice was finished in the microwave I added the juice and honey into the jug. I then add the yeast. For the EC-1118 I adde the whole package and the for the S-04 I used 1 tsp.
I then shock the jugs until everything was nicely mixed. I did not put on an airlock yet since i plan to shake the bottle a few times a day for the next few days until the bottle starts to get hard.
WARNING: looks like EC-1118 took off a lot faster then my other yeast has and I had a minor explosion and a big mess to clean up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5kldc0YINo

I finished getting 2 gallons of kombucha started. One is the green tea again and the other is the Irish Breakfast black tea.
I also got all of ciders racked and topped off. They all tasted good and I really could not tell the difference between the I I stated at the beginning of June without the heating pad the the ones I started at the end of June on the heating pad with the yeast that was raising. When I bottle them I will do a side by side tasting to see if there are many differences.
