I know, I know. Some may say I vowed to never touch UNI again with a 10-foot pole, but I did say I'd reconsider if they ever release gun-chick.
... so here we are!
All in all, gun-chick has fun combos, but her tools are extremely limited in use (her specials have almost no use outside of combos!) and her oki is "meh" at best. Her normals have extremely low range for a "gunner" (which is especially weak in a game like this where range is king). Her close-range game is weak, which doesn't balance out her lackluster range. Her 214A/B leave her extremely vulnerable and are interruptible which make them, essentially, worthless as zoning or spacing tools. 236A is useless outside of combos (and I guess clashing with projectiles), whereas 236B is good for countering projectile spam and fullscreen whiffs. The only great tools she has are her B+C dodge (which destroys Vatistas zoning game and shuts down charged normals and overheads) and her 214C (which is an excellent oki setup after 623A knockdown... but costs meter).
Overall, she'd be a decent character if she had better spacing tools, but at the moment she looks very weak overall. But, hey, at least her theme's nice!
