The third episode of the Plutonia Roguelike Arsenal Playthrough. The first map comes out full swing, with a lot of hit scanners and special spawns. We get some unique gear and we head off towards the secret maps! As usual Corel Video Studio screws up a lot during the editing process. I do what I can, only a few typos. And seriously, the preview window while editing has a screen size about that of a smart phone. On a 1920 x 1080 monitor I have to SQUINT to see the large text... I'm still gonna try and have TNT uploads sometime this week and then I can put the regular doom maps behind me for a very long time. Roguelike Arsenal is a gameplay mod that adds hundreds of weapons, upgrades, and armors; as well as its monster counterpart adding customized monsters with unique and deadly attacks. As you may have guessed from the name, it also makes every run a unique experience with full randomization of monster types, weapons, and armor pickups. You get to choose from a selection of 5 different classes: Scout, Marine, Technician, Renegade, and Demolitionist. Each class has unique buffs that you can find out through the use of RLA's PDA in game. Short summary for each: Scout- Efficient with pistols and increased movement. Marine- Large ammo for rapid fire weapons and enhanced powerups Technician- Enhanced damage with assembled weaponry and easier access to mods Renegade- More armor and more pellets with shotguns. Demolitionist- Immune to splash damage and reduced ammo consumption with cells. It's a VERY difficult gameplay mod, or your best friend and makes it a cakewalk. Depends on your settings mostly and how much RNG feels like screwing you. It's one of the best mods to provide a challenge without taking too much away from the original Doom feel IMO. Between Corel Video Studio, OBS, and GZDoom acting up I've finally begun editing the Final Doom portions of this playthrough! Plutonia and TNT are done, I just have to finish editing the videos. I also have updated the information I put in these videos with some fancy Paint.net editing and SLADE. If there is anything you think can be improved upon, please don't hesitate to critique.
